The wine and dessert (cannoli) were great, but the entrees were pretty bad. We got the chicken milanese and it was some of the most overcooked chicken we have ever had. The gluten free pasta and sauce were mediocre at best. Not happy with the food, but service was nice and it was a pleasant environment. The water had a very bad after taste also, would not drink.
A vibrant spot with a relaxing vibe, offering a diverse menu, unique plant-based options, and a great atmosphere for gatherings or solo visits.

I’ve come to Plant City several times- but my most recent experience was just incredible and has prompted me to write a review. I got the T-BLAT (blt with shiitake mushroom bacon) on gluten free bread and my, my it was DIVINE! The bread was so good for being gluten free and the filling was decadent, nicely filled with lettuce, and a nice balance of spice, saltiness and creaminess from the chipotle mayo and avocado. I highly recommend. They also have a wide variety of hot/iced drinks, as well as a to go food counter with food like sushi and noodles, and many gluten free pastries. I also really love their grocery section with many high quality plant based foods and other snacks. The cafe itself is also just very relaxing and nice with lots of natural light and comfortable seating. I LOVE plant city!
Delicious meals, huge portions, and outdoor seating make this a beloved spot for family and friends in a lively atmosphere.

Absolutely delicious. I have celiac disease, and they readily accommodated me with a scrumptious gluten-free meal accompanied by an excellent glad of red wine. Loved it!

Folks who deliver through a service need to stop blaming Francesco’s for the temperature of the pizza. They are not responsible for the timing of deliveries—the app you choose makes that determination. Now, that being said, this is a real family owned Italian American corner pizza place just like you’d find in NYC or Brooklyn. Mom, son, wife, they all take part. The pizza sauce is homemade, tangy and bright like a New York slice with a thin crisp crust that has a nice crusty bread taste. YES—they have vegan cheese! YES—they have gluten free pizza. I suggest stopping in for a slice—no tables inside but there are benches on the sidewalk. Otherwise order a pizza to go and pick it up yourself, and say hi to the folks who work there. Small businesses like this are one of the last places we can really build a sense of community and support—a place like this has honest prices and good food (I have to try the homemade meatballs!) and is worthy of the community gathering around to support them! I’m giving Piemontes 5 stars because their pizza is fantastic. BUT….Piemonte’s…. Cmon… I ordered a gluten free pizza (margarita) and you put this HORRIBLE looking basil in my box, you didn’t even put it in my pizza, which also came cold as ice. Do better next time with Gluten free pizza.
'We will make it gluten free for you if at all possible.' This was one our waiter's first lines. Yay!! Awesome food. Great atmosphere. Easy parking and valet.
Known for its unique takes on classic dishes, this gem offers a variety of options while ensuring everyone feels welcome and satisfied.

We got there right before the dinner rush. The staff was kind and knowledgeable about what items were safe for me as a person with Celiac Disease. The Scungilli was fantastic, the snails had a similar texture to octopus, and the portion size was generous enough for my husband and I to share. The Gemelli Gluten Free pasta was quite interesting, but in a good way. My kids both devoured their meals as well which says a lot.
Known for its amazing crispy crust and plentiful toppings, this cozy pizzeria is a must-visit for pizza lovers seeking a treat.

The pizza is AMAZING. We came from Ohio, and this place came up first in our search for pizza in federal hill. We see why. The gluten free crust is delicious, the toppings are plentiful, and his cheese blend is absolute perfection.

Amazing place to grab a bite with your family. Staff is very friendly and the food is superb. Four cheese pizza is the very best, I have issues with gluten, but I couldn't care less, and I stuffed my cheeks with their pizzas. To my surprise, I didn't get sick. Dough is perfect, not too tick, just pure perfection. Prices are really reasonable. Will come back for sure.

Our favorite Italian grocery in Providence! Family run great staff, great selection and before the holidays it's even better.
LOTS of different brands and types of Gluten Free pastas, the good imported stuff you can't get at a regular grocery. They are taking care to label GF foods and Gina at the counter can answer if you're unsure.
Rosalina was an unusual experience. We chose this place because of the great reviews. When we arrived, reception told us the owners were going on a vacation the next day, and we couldn't sit at the tables, but the bar was open. As the evening progressed, we came to learn that the tables and seats were filled by employees that were eating and drinking. We ordered the sausage and peppers appetizer, which was delicious and a good gluten-free bolognese pasta.
Pizzico Ristorante is a ritzy neighborhood joint where you might find a few Hope Street notables sipping on wine and dining on happy hour buck-a-shuck.
The menu is two to three dollar signs: $$-$$$. But the food options are creative, with highly visible "gluten-free options" on the menu.
While sipping on some of the excellent selection of liquors, I overheard a very knowledgeable bartender talk about wine and it's eccentricities with some bar patrons. It's a very cool place, I recommend ending your weekday there, or starting your weekend evening before you start your adventures.
Expect a top-tier experience with delicious offerings and inventive drinks that make this spot a must-visit in Providence.
