I totally adore Mio Nonno Trattoria! When we return to the DFW area, this amazing restaurant is definitely on the repeat-visit list. They have a gluten-friendly pizza that they turned into a vegan masterpiece. I've not seen or, more importantly, tasted its rival anywhere else. The salads are exceptionally well done, really in a class by themselves. Beet salad cannot be beat (pun forgiveness requested). The gluten-free pasta is excellent. Cannot go wrong with marinara sauce if wishing to avoid meat. I could not more highly recommend! Mio meal with a Lakeside cinema movie to follow was a winning combination. Wished I had pictures to share, but the food made a beeline for my mouth upon being served. Besides, pictures to come in a future post will make a second visit even more likely, and I'm counting the days until I can return.

Absolutely love Fiori and will return first chance I get. The salads are marvelous, and the gluten-free pasta is a must-have. Highly recommend!

Don't let the old fashion table cloths and wood paneled walls fool you. This place is the definition of don't judge a book by it's cover. The gluten free pizza was awesome, I'm so happy it wasn't dry cauliflower crust like many other restaurants. This pizza had substance and flavor, I enjoyed every bite. 🙌

First and last time I’m trying this place. I had heard good things, but about other locations. Over $70 dollars for two pizzas, one order of lasagna, and a non-optional tip - for a pickup order. Lasagna was watery and messily served, the gluten free crust was definitely Full of gluten, and the toppings they upcharge for at a premium get you a very sparse scattering over part of your pizza. When I arrived I asked for a side of ranch and the girl at the counter (wearing pajama pants) charged me for it. I understand they can’t just give everything away but you’d think I could get some little cups of ranch with my $70+ order. I was even trying to use their “buy a 16 in get a 12 in thin crust” coupon and somehow think I paid more than not using it. No one was outright rude but you could tell no one that was there wanted to be working there or cared much about service. Which, again, would be fine if I hadn’t been forced on their online order form to add a service tip for zero service. You can honestly get better tasting, more mindfully prepared pizza and nicer service at a Domino’s.

I almost hate to write this review as this amazing restaurant is already busy! Well earned and deserved. Amazing pizza, fantastic salads, burrata options, and the dessert options are so good! The Italian flour and fermenting process makes this a great option for people that struggle with gluten.

Found this place on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by the food. My friends and I tried the bruschetta, calamari, penne vodka, fettuccine alfredo, and pasta al Angelo, and tiramisu which were all fantastic! They also have gluten-free penne and pizza dough for any GF people! Highly recommend!!
