Really good food BUT unhappy with their lack of care!
I had the lamb ragu with gluten free pasta, which was delicious. However, I found about 7 pieces of gluten pasta in my dish (completely different pasta shapes).
I understand there might be some cross contamination in the kitchen, but putting actual gluten in with gluten free pasta is not okay. The chefs clearly don’t care to accommodate gluten free even though the waiters confirmed with me that it would be gluten free when I was ordering.
Wouldn’t recommend coming if you have any intolerances/allergies. You will probably leave feeling sick like I did. The restaurant shouldn’t promote having gluten free pasta on their menu if they’re not going to actually make it gluten free.
Otherwise, I’ll add the staff were really nice and the atmosphere was good too.
Charming family-run spot with a dog-friendly courtyard, quick service, and easy access near train stations—perfect for a casual hangout.

Lovely little family run cafe with courtyard at back, suitable for people with dogs, large prams etc.
Fast service with reasonable prices.
ACCESSIBILITY: Street parking available, wheelchair access with ample spaces to bring a dog and have your coffee etc.
MENU: Reasonably priced salads, sandwiches, burgers, breakfasts, Banh Mi, etc. They also sell loaves of bread, lots of treats, gluten free Christmas snacks.
They cater to well to the gluten free, vegetarian and vegan community.
LOCATION: Minutes from Redfern train station or about 15 minutes from Central station.
STAFF: Really lovely, efficient, very accommodating staff.
Recommend and would go again.
Brilliant local Cafe. I would give them six stars for service if it was possible. Love the fact they have a gluten-free bread option. My recommendation, try the Turkish Breakfast!
