The best fish and chips we've had in a long time. Beautiful light crispy batter on the flake and crab sticks. Fantastic that they offer gluten free, having a kid with coeliac, take out is often tricky to find true gluten free options- they have a separate fryer etc. I will say (in the nicest way possible) just looking at the building, not knowing they offer gluten free I would probably not order from there but I was pleasantly surprised. So to the owner a little bit of TLC on the building would go a long way. Highly recommend

Great food, I always visit here at least once a week. However today when I was served I asked if there was gravy, the server laughed at me and said ‘ no we are gluten free’ I feel humiliated as I know there is gluten free gravy it was only a simple question I asked. I do not believe the laugh & smart remark was necessary.

Food was pretty good. Popped in for a quick bite before another event and was served pretty quickly even though it was relatively busy. Went back later for a burger, which was pretty good. Not the best I've ever had but pretty good and they had a gluten free bun option, which was good. Chips were good.

My husband and I both enjoyed a lovely Eggs Hollandaise breakfast. They also cater for those who can't have gluten. I highly recommend this cafe.

I love that they had several gluten & dairy free options to choose from. I had the rice porridge which was delicious and filling. The service was excellent with the staff happy to suggest options that suited my dietary needs. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere.

Went here for Sunday brunch after the local swap meet and we were greeted with friendly and very helpful staff. They had gluten free options for my girlfriend who is celiac. The atmosphere was beautiful & the food even better! I got the salt & pepper calamari with an Asian slaw which was absolutely delicious! My partner got eggs on toast and for gluten free is was great! Beautiful view of the lake and some cute doggos chilling out on the deck made for a great vibe. Would definitely recommend coming here for a meal!

We had lunch today 8/4/2021, service fantastic and friendly. We had three people and all opted for the specials on the lunch menu. One fish, one lamb roast and one lamb cutlets. I also had a sweet., the gluten free option. All servings where of good size and deliciousness on a plate cooked to perfection. Exceptional price $20.00 each this also included a drink of either beer, wine or soft drink. Sweet $12.00. We will definitely be back again and highly recommend this great venue. Cheers table 23.

The best pizza in Bendigo!! The best gluten free pizza base I've ever had. Toppings were amazing, plentiful. My friends who were visiting are forever converted to gluten free and Say Cheese Pizza is my new fave 🍕 Highly recommend!!!

They have plenty of gluten free options and I love the Mexican punch. The only issue is their soft tacos - they taste like cardboard but the fillings are amazing.

What an absolutely charming restaurant. Food presented like fine dining, delightful staff. It was a miserable day and we had to sit outside. Staff made sure we were undercover and put on a heater. Highly recommend and will look forward to going back. Good food options including gluten free.

Vegan pizza and garlic bread 5 STARS!! We had 1 deep pan and 1 gluten free and they were both fantastic. DON'T recommend the chips though as they were pretty awful - cold, bland and dry (some soggy). Dominoes should stick to pizza :')

Fantastic experience at GPO! As a coeliac, I particularly would like to mention the due diligence shown by the lovely waitress and chef in ensuring that my needs were catered for. This is so appreciated 😊 The meal was just fabulous and the dessert makes me wish I lived closer so that I could be a frequent visitor! I went there for a friend’s birthday. We all ended up going a bit rogue and ordering outside the menu. They made a whole lot of special vegan and gluten free dishes to accomodate my dietary requirements. The cauliflower was to die for. I’ll be going back many times again for this dish alone.

4 of us dined in today i had the chicken breast which was stuffed served with chat pot and greens. I have been coeliac for 23 years and it was without a doubt the best gf meal i have ever eaten dining out. Service and food faultless cannot wait to return again

Amazing ice cream and sorbets. Plenty of flavours to choose from, and many are gluten-free. There are tables located outside where you can sit with your dogs. They also serve light meals.

Second time we have been here, before and after covid, and it hasn't changed. Seems very authentic, lots of choice, many gluten free options. Some dishes tasted different from other places but still delicious

Starters of oysters and king fish were so fresh. Steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides were of a good size with the flavours complementing the meat well. Dessert was amazing, the largest brulee I have ever had. Staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Plenty of gluten free options which made the dining experience more enjoyable as there were many options I could choose from. Would definitely return when back in Bendigo

Had walked past and thought we needed to come back for breakfast, and I'm glad we did! Even being fairly busy our drinks and food was out quickly. Menu had a fair few gluten free options and the corn fritters were amazing, probably the best I've ever had. We'll be back.

I've never been disappointed with anything I've gotten from this establishment, they've always met my expectations. A large variety of choice in terms of ingredients which is suitable for any combination and liking. My wife who has a gluten intolerance still likes coming here just for the salads. A healthy alternative to typical fast food which leaves one satisfied and refreshed.

I visited Bendigo to see friends and got taken to their local gem. I want to preface this review by saying the experience was better than any recent dining adventures I’ve had in Melbourne and I am shooketh! As a celiac with a dairy allergy I’d set my bar low but instead of the usual Melbourne lack lustre offerings for someone with my requirements, I enjoyed an amazing evening of food and wine. Fresh, local, crusty gluten free bread and olive oil started the night followed by an entree of Jerusalem artichokes which I’d be happy to eat every-day forever! The main was ‘fish of the day’ with a side of broccolini and I was tempted to try the vegan/gf dessert (coconut crème brûlée) but the food and wine was so good I couldn’t fit it in. Next time! Aside from the food, the ambience was spot on and staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I loved it here and can’t wait to come back!
