Fantastic cafe with great coffee and delicious food.
The staff were very kind too to kindly switch the bread from standard to gluten free after I forgot to request it due to dietary requirements (ceoliac)
Will definitely go back 😋

My support worker and myself had a break from our moday menu planning and cooking. After I had a medical appointment, we went out for lunch here. A very pleasant experience for both of us. The food was delicious and they had gluten free orange cake which i loved. My support worker had a white choc and raspberry muffin to share with her partner and i hear it was delicious too. We both found the staff very helpful. It is very spacious inside and they have a disabled toilet available as well.
Update:
I took another support worker here all of an hour ago and it was fantastic. Great service and a delicious gluten free cake. I had yummy scrambled eggs and my worker had an egg and bacon roll. They have a fantastic gift shop, i bought 6 birthday cards.
Unfortunately there is only one disabled car park and its a bit far away from the cafe. I would suggest someone speaking to the council to get more disability parking here.
Regards, leonie. Have a nice day :)
This Cafe states they offer gluten free dishes but no safe practices are observed (such as separate toasters for gluten free bread, separate cooking utensils and pans for gluten free) therefore making it unsafe for those who medically cannot eat gluten. Even gluten free cakes & muffins were unsafe as they're stored right next to non gluten free items. This cafe is definitely not safe for anyone with Coeliac Disease.
We were also served warm water & when asked for some cold water (twice) it never arrived.
Disappointing.
A cozy yet spacious spot with bright indoor and outdoor seating, serving up excellent coffee and must-try dishes in a welcoming vibe.

So good I dug in without taking photos!
I love bruschetta so much if it’s on the menu you bet your bottom dollar I’m ordering it. Now usually, this leaves me disappointed and thinking I could do a better job at home - Well, not this time!
I had the pesto bruschetta special with gluten free bread. It was the BEST bruschetta I have ever had! Medley of tomatoes, seasoned to perfection, so garlicky and pesto-y and balanced that I ate all the rocket. The toast was soaked in the oils of the dish but still crisp. The mozzarella was so creamy and lots spread throughout the meal. Genuinely cannot speak highly enough of this dish considering the many, many let downs I’ve had else where. One of the best.
My partner had the open omelette special. Again, good portion, soft, pillowy and creamy egg.
We ordered coffee and it came out so quickly I didn’t have time to finish my sentence! It was so good we ordered a second. Plus an orange juice to share.
Atmosphere is lovely, chill and family friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating with shade. Great ambiance to chat with friends and family without any blasting music. Tables are nice and big so you’re not bunched up and sitting next to a stranger. Chairs are comfy, I could easily spend a lot of time and money here simply because of how comfy and inviting the atmosphere is, I’m not rushing to get out the door.
Staff are quick to respond, friendly and polite. You get the vibe that it’s the local place that everyone loves with their regular customers and kids talking and catching up with the staff.
It really was such a great find and I will be coming back for sure! Thank you.
We had a lovely night at Amor Mexico, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely, and the frozen margaritas were yummy as well.
But The food portions were too small and did not match the high prices. I would've liked a larger serving size especially the nachos and the gluten free tortillas were very small.
Otherwise we enjoyed the great service and had a good night out.

Great food, excellent service! Accommodates for celiac, all their meats can be done without marinade. Gluten free soya sauce available! Staff is supernice and easy going. You'll definitely get service with a smile. The meat portions are on the smaller side, but it's real quality meat. Quite popular, so make sure to call and make a booking first. Would definitely recommend.

So I got off at Blackburn station on the way home from work as always, but today I knew that I have no snacks at home so I stopped at Subway (the only restaurant open on the street at that time).
I honestly thought I wouldn't buy / eat anything because I'm trying to eat gluten-free these days.
But the young bloke that served me, Syed, informed me that while I can't have a Sub, I can have a wrap because there are GF wraps.
Before ordering, I asked him "how do you pronounce your name?" and so we had a chat while he was taking my order and preparing my chicken teriyaki GF wrap.
After eating, my hands were sticky so I asked Syed if there's a toilet where I may wash my hands. He kindly instructed me to the facilities at the back of the restaurant.
All in all, I was happy with the professionalism and cleanliness that you expect from most Subway restaurants, but really happy with the friendliness and personal touch.
I'm definitely going back there next time I have no snacks at home! :)
I really realy like this place, and the gluten free pizza, and the happy smiley people, and the opening hours, and the parking, and the vibe, and the prices, and the decor
