Basically, they are imitation meat dishes, and the waiter is not very clear about the ingredients of the raw materials. I can't eat gluten, I just can't eat wheat flour, and the waiters are not sure whether it contains gluten or not, so I can't ask too much from them. The taste is a bit salty, and the fried rice is a bit oily. My taste is light, which doesn't quite suit my taste. I personally feel it's just average. The service wasn't very good either. The waiter didn't come over when he saw me waving. The dining experience is just average. Three points is already the most.
Toast and jam with coffee for a lovely Saturday breakfast. Good friendly service! Nice and quiet for easy conversation. Great gluten free options too. Will be back for sure.
Staff lovely. Food delicious! Try the corn fritters they were so tasty and a big serve AND gluten free! Being a coeliac I was pretty happy and didn't get sick. I told the staff when ordering and he mentioned on the ticket for the chef so the food was safe for me.Thank you Penny Drop 😊😊
Excellent coffee, food and service every time I visit. Also I really appreciate that they have some gluten free options in the menu as well. I highly recommend this place!
Lovely friendly waiter with great sense of humour. Food was delicious and gluten free options. A friend on my table took my gluten free dish by mistake so they made me up a new dish to make sure I didn't get sick. My work colleagues have been going here for over 10 yrs & love it!
Had a private function here before opening hours for a wake/memorial for my Dad, and then entire process from the initial interactions all the way through to walking out the door after the event was a delight. Nikki was so clear and concise ensuring everything I requested was accommodated for, the set up was perfect, the food was really great and enjoyed by all. Through a difficult time, Nikki and her team at Dumpling King made organising this event an absolute breeze, beyond what I could have expected. They accommodated for vegan/vegetarian and gluten free diets. So grateful for the experience.
We walked the entire street and this was he only place that understood gluten free, so we sat down and looks at the menu.
Huge range on the menu, prices are reasonable.
The food turned out to be brilliant, very large serves and very delicious. Am very glad that we gave them a go.

Food was really generous in size.
Staff went above and beyond to try and find gluten free options.
Broth was full of flavour and the produce was fresh.
Parking was an issue, with not many spaces on the street and no allocated car parks. However the time of night I arrived was busy. Ended up parking fair bit away from the venue. (Obviously not the restaurant's fault) it's box Hill.
Toilets and amenities were clean and tidy. Plenty of large families enjoying their meal. Would be great if gluten free options were marked in the menu for easy ordering.
