We used to love coming here, but hadn’t been for a while. The smell of old cooking oil was almost overwhelming, and the staff standing on a bucket to reach the pass to get food is an accident waiting to happen. Tried to order food and every option I selected was not able to be done and I was told, it is not your lucky day. I was then suggested to eat fresh meat after explaining I needed Gluten free vegetarian options. That is when I walked out and won’t ever be back. Sad to see what was a wonderful place become so rundown.

Had a gluten free burger and the egg was cooked perfectly! The gf bun was good not dry. The fries are also gluten free as is the chocolate cake. The cake was a little too sweet for me but just delighted that there was a gf option. Would 100% go again.

So many GF options!!! Get a share plate and try everything. Wow. So impressed with the range of flavours and the fact that most of the menu is gluten allergy friendly. A carnivores dream. Everything is smoked and slow cooked to perfection served in a matter of minutes fresh and hot!

This is an absolute favourite café of mine! The staff are super duper welcoming and friendly, the chef is very chatty and warm! The lamb shawarma is the best thing I have tasted, plus they were able to use a gluten free wrap bread for me, yum yum. The entrance is a smooth transition, no level changes for wheelchairs or prams (attached photo is the front doorway). It would be a tight squeeze to get a wheelchair to the back corner tables, but luckily they have many that are wheelchair accessible. 5 starts all around and a massive thank you for making such delicious food!

The food was great, the service good, and the coffee excellent (although they put the chocolate for the cappuccino on before the milk pour - this is a pet peeve of mine that I will never understand). Lots of vegan and gluten free meals and meal options, and the menu says they're trying to minimise food waste, which is great, and means they apparently do a lot of their own preserving and pickling. They've refurbished the cafe that used to be there with some quite lovely and surprising interior design elements. It's a little noisy inside but the courtyard out the back was perfect. Lost a star because the urge to make everything instagram-worthy and show off their (admittedly beautiful) plates means that sometimes food is plated to look good instead of taste good. I had the falafel with pumpkin hummus, fatoush salad, dukka egg and fried haloumi - all absolutely delicious. The falafels were tasty and not dry, and small enough that there was lots of lovely crispy crust. And there was plenty of food - I was completely stuffed afterwards. But to keep literally half the plate free, they'd put the fatoush salad directly onto the pumpkin hummus, so that it was no longer a light and refreshing break from the heavier falafel, egg and haloumi, but instead weighed down by the hummus. Still! Despite this would definitely recommend and will be back.

Amazing Nepalese Restaurant! We had the Buffalo Sukuti, veg MoMo, and the Goat Dhido set. The food was so good with generous helpings and plenty of sides. The service was wonderful and staff helped me navigate the menu for gluten free options. 10/10 would recommend. I'll be visiting again soon! Thank you!

We used EatClub app and gave us 40%off that was awesome. Also ordered normal Bun and gluten free bun burger 🍔 though both of buns are pretty good. If you wanna get gluten free bun make sure to ring them first just in case they don’t have them.

I have attended this cafe weekly for 9 months with a group of Mums after a nearby baby class. The owners are so welcoming and lovely to us. The food is always great! As a coeliac they are easily able to cater for me and the coffee is really good too! We love this cafe and always look forward to catching up there! Thanks Eastern Bloc! 😁
