The beautifully restored 1902 church created such a warm and elegant atmosphere. We ordered the croquettes, the fettuccine, the beef pot pie, and the soup of the day — carrot and coriander — and everything was fresh and delicious. You can really taste the quality of the locally sourced ingredients.
The croquettes were crispy and full of flavor, the beef pot pie was hearty and comforting, and the soup was beautifully balanced. The fettuccine had a unique, slightly spicy sauce that made it stand out in the best way. We finished with a rich, moist gluten-free chocolate cake — the perfect sweet ending.
Friendly and attentive service made the experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re visiting the Dandenong Ranges!
Went for a high tea with my family for my birthday. The food was amazing, and definitely worth the money. They catered for gluten free and no onion and garlic and did not feel like it was a problem for them too. Both me and my mum that are GF, were so impressed with the food and my other family member who had regular menu was also so impressed. The service was lovely. Just a cute restaurant and not too loud. And they even gave me a card. Thank you! Can’t wait to go again!
Karen made the most amazing mother's day cake that was not only gluten free but largely dairy free also.
Dad and I enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere whilst having a perfectly made coffee when waiting for the cake to be decorated and to boxed up.
We would highly recommend a visit and also to peruse the giftware.
