We recently dined at Buell Street Bistro and had a fantastic time. We sat on the patio, which had a lovely atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed meal. Our server was incredible—attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better.
The food was absolutely delicious! What really stood out was the fact that they offer separate gluten-free and vegetarian menus. This was a huge plus for me, as I didn’t have to browse through items I couldn't eat. It made choosing a meal so much easier, and everything I tried was flavorful and fresh.
Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and service, especially if you have dietary restrictions!

This delightful family owned and run British tearoom features some of the hardest working and lovely people in the restaurant business. It's not
uncommon to see one of them often take the time acknowledge, and at times chat with a loyal customer or new face, when time allows for it. Cosies make the BEST pot of tea (with you guessed it, a lovely tea cosy to keep it warm). In addition to a variety of daily freshly baked delicious scones, (even gluten free and vegan ones, my fave); baked from scratch British foods like baps, pasties, sausage rolls, Eccles cakes, generous breakfasts, and did I mention the best scones - with house jam and clotted cream if you please. For non-tea lovers, they also have coffee! Not to be missed if you are visiting pretty Brockville or just want a hot pot of tea with a yummy scone made the best way in a sweet and attractive setting.

Staff and atmosphere make the place. Their servers are great at their jobs, awesome at small talk and remembering who you are. My friends and I have been coming weekly for trivia nights, but there are a lot of teams so kudos to them for caring enough to remember us all. The place was newly built a few years ago as it is a brewery so the interior is nice and clean. The food can be fire or mediocre but always edible. Some of their Homemade Soups have been golden, their Garlic Cheese Bread always hits the spot and the sauce they make for their Burnt Ends should come with a 10-step program it is that addictive. They have tried hard with the menu to offer veg and gluten-free options. Having said that, some of the meals fall short when you factor in the price. I still return though because the food is still better than a lot of places, brews are decent and you feel welcomed there.

My wife Christine and I went there yesterday for our 24th anniversary, and were warmly greeted, and seated promptly by the friendly hostess for the evening. I have a bad memory with names, and apologize for that, but our hostess was very kind and humorous as well, with my request to check the alcohol percentage on the red wines, because of a health issue, I cannot have more than one glass. My wife is gluten and lactose intolerant, and our hostess made sure these concerns were addressed properly, and all the while, all with humorous reparty. Anyways, my wife had the small beet salad, and maple glazed salmon, and I had a small Italian salad with shrimp, and the seafood linguini as my main course. We had a surprise, free, sticky toffee pudding for dessert, which was the cherry topping for our evening out. Excellent food, and impeccable friendly service. Worth every penny and we will definitely be back.☺️👍

Day before yesterday, I went with my son who has diet restrictions in terms of gluten, friendly, and vegetarian options. Person on the counter, respected our choices and made sure that she changed her gloves and ensure that gluten-free tortilla was used properly to make burrito for my son. I really appreciate the gesture and sincerity of the staff at this location.
Absolutely love this place, and their amazing staff! 😊 Their fudge is the best I've ever had, and I love that they carry local products to purchase. The gluten free options from Purest are delicious.. .have finally found a great loaf of bread!
