BEST RESTAURANT IN ATHENS! Hands down the best restaurant we went to in Athens, even in all of Greece. We stayed in Athens for 4 nights total, and came here 3 nights. I have Celiacs, so learning that the entire menu was gluten free was a dream come true! Gluten free or not, it was the best pita bread we had the entire trip. Other menu highlights were the calamari, fried prawns, and chicken gyros. But really, you cannot go wrong with any item! Highly recommend when in Athens, as it is a great location near the Acropolis on a beautiful street with other lively restaurants & bars. Service was also top notch, as servers remembered us when we came back a week later. Whenever we come to Greece next, Arcadia will be our first stop!

Loved this place! We ate here a few times and even got takeaway for our plane trip. All meals were exceptional. They were able to cater for gluten free (cealiac) with no issues. Staff were lovely. Definately order the praline, wow it was like Ferrero Rocher. And the wraps were amazing. We ordered wraps for takeaway and thought maybe they would get soggy, but they were so good the next day. Best meals we had in Athens.

Nice vegetarian and vegan spot where the gluten free options are clearly marked on the menu. I honestly expected a broader choice for gluten free, but the soup I got (spicy thai) was not disappointing - very very tasty! They also have gluten free desserts and beer.

A delicious and authentic Greek spot to eat! I had the chicken fillet in yogurt sauce with fries - absolutely delicious and gluten free! Items were marked GF on the menu. Great ambiance to sit out in the square.

Wow!!! This place was amazing. We came back twice. I had the vegan gyro both times even though everything on the menu looked amazing. I just couldn’t resist the gluten free pita. It’s honestly so good and I’m not sure where else I could find a vegan and gluten free gyro! We also had the cauliflower bites and the house salad and both were delicious.

We are big fans of Mexican food and regularly prepare it at home. We were excited to try this place on our family trip to Athens, but I gotta say it did not deliver. I have celiac disease and I'm very sensitive to cross contamination with gluten. This place was recommended as one of the few in Athens where I can safely consume gluten free food safe from cross contamination. I have to admit extra precautions were taken when I informed the staff of my condition and I felt Ok after the visit. But I was not impressed by the organization and I definitely felt anxious about getting glutened at this place. Furthermore, the food was below par as quality and taste. I had the tacos with grilled beef steak. The taco shells were old and dry, the typical crispiness was missing. The meat was not well seasoned and had a strange taste. The guacamole was bland, I expected more from a Mexican place. My wife and daughter were equally not impressed with their food. They were particularly disappointed by the churros. Overall, it's Ok if you want to try Mexican, but don't expect much of this place.

I love Poncho's tacos! It's a charming little hole in the wall. He makes his own masa for his incredible corn tortillas And they are gluten free. His passion for home style Mexican food keeps the menu simple but, sooooo sabrosa as they say. The Pico de Gallo and his 3 levels of salsas are the cherries on top. He can accommodate vegans and vegetarians. And his take on Margherita's is also great and budget friendly. This is authentic Mexican food. Not the Tex-Mex most other places churn out. Try it.!!!

Found this little gem while staying at the Moxy. I have celiac and crohns disease and am a gluten free vegan. Mama Tierra didn't disappoint! The hummus, fantastic! The caramelized onions on top, genius. Great flavor profile. My fiancé got the burrito. I have never seen him eat a burrito that quickly. He loved it! I got the GF Bowl. Delicious! Overall I'd go back and make it my regular spot. Food is fresh and delicious. Service was fantastic and it had such a charming vibe.

Very nice environment. We went there thinking we would find several gluten-free dishes but in reality only Greek salad was listed on the menu. However, they prepared an omelette for us, accompanied by a slice of packaged bread because the fresh bread had run out. Therefore recommended as a place but not if you are looking for a gluten free place.

My girlfriend and I which has low level of celiac disease went there after having a reservation, and the restaurant wouldn’t accept to serve us because of her gluten sensitivity and told us to leave after 25 minutes of waiting for service. Very disappointed from the disgraceful experience.

I am a coeliac with a dairy allergy. Explained this and they assured me all the ice cream was gluten-free and then I had the choice of 7 flavours that were dairy-free!! I had the Aztec Chocolate - yummy dark chocolate, almonds and a hint of cinnamon - simply sublime. Hoping I have time to go back before we fly out as I want to try the watermelon! They asked if it was an allergy and went and got a new spoon to scoop the ice cream into a cup, so nice about it. Thank you for making such a rare occurrence so special for me!

Just returned from a once in a lifetime trip to Europe and found this gem on the recommendation of our driver. The food was unbelievable as was the service and atmosphere. I came here during June to see Coldplay and fell in love with the atmosphere surrounding the arachova grill house, the service was excellent and staff were very friendly. My daughter suffers from coeliac disease and is very cautious of her condition, the staff made sure her food was gluten free without contamination and even went as far as to specially make gluten free chips for her which we appreciated. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the athens area we have ate here during the evening every night we’ve been here and have been very well looked after.

I couldn’t recommend this place more, one of the best spots we had food in when we came to visit Athens! This place is just off a busy street of tourist trap restaurants next to the Acropolis museum and is definitely worth finding as the experience is so much better. Our host was very welcoming and talked us through all the food options available that day in impeccable English, it’s clearly a family-run establishment and the atmosphere was very charming. We had the grilled pork, traditional Greek salad, baked aubergines and stuffed peppers and everything was delicious. We had a couple Mythos beers with it and it was very cheap for the quality of the food. The menu changes often but there were also plenty of vegan and gluten-free options for those with dietary restrictions and this is something the owner takes very carefully

It is my beginning to accurately describe my experience with details that make the difference...initially I chose this fish restaurant because it had trachana with seafood on the menu...3 people Wednesday noon...order 1 salad, 1 squid on a spit and 1 seafood risotto (1 person in the group has celiac disease and couldn't eat trachana, cry)...in seconds, grilled country bread came to the table with a olive oil that resurrects and sick people really...the rest of the dishes came in literally zero time, flawless and the 3 to the degree of perfection really...in the end a treat mastiha drink and the bill 41 euros including 1 beer...I will close by saying...What more can anyone ask for??? thank you very much
