We had been travelling in Japan for Several days, and the members of our party with coeliac was looking for a change. Tucked away on Miyajima, this small cafe is dedicated gluten free. The fried chicken was wonderful, and the curries smelled great. And then there were the donuts…
It was just delightful to find such flavors one GF food, almost by accident.

Many gluten free options for lunch and different gluten free cakes. The staff were attentive and took my coeliac condition seriously, answering all my questions with care and to the best of their knowledge. It was reassuring to see them checking all the dishes on the menu that they could safely offer me.
Most importantly, the cakes were delicious.
This intimate eatery offers a serene and magical atmosphere with low tables on tatami mats and a bay window framing a stunning view of a large torii gate and crystal-clear river. The quiet setting with few tables enhances a peaceful dining experience, complemented by a friendly dog and thoughtful service.
