So, so happy to have discovered the cozy corner cafe. We're not locals but will definitely be coming back anytime we're in Taupo. This place is a gem and a rare find! Most cafes offer gluten-free, vegan etc as one or two options on their menu as an added consideration for those with dietary requirements. This place caters to virtually every dietary requirement as the basis of their menu, whilst still offering what you'd expect from any cafe. The food is delicious, as well as great coffee. Super highly recommended! I wish there were more cafes around like this

Very good family address for a quick lunch. We choose from the window what we want, there are raw, gluten-free, and healthy alternatives even for children. Warm and kids friendly atmosphere (games available).

Great coffee shop close to Huka Falls. They have really nice coffee, plenty of gluten free options as well as some veggie and vegan ones. Nice deck to chill and enjoy the landscape.

Really nice place! Everything was perfect - service, food, atmosphere. The Chef made sure to look after us himself, explained about the food served and cared for my wife's coeliac dietary requirements. What a pleasant dinner. We definitely recommend it!! It is a must go in Taupo!

Went here for mums birthday lunch, everyone's food came out luke warm. My pizza was lacking flavour, it was the tofu one. It was very bland. The calamari my sister got the gluten free version and it was small for the price and lacking flavour. Mums seafood chowder was yummy but not hot and someone else got a cherizo breakfast special that was great value and yummy. They have a huge menu with heaps of gluten free options which is great. The waitress was lovely and very tentative to our table. Would probably go back but would ask for the meal to be hot and wouldn't get a gf pizza!

10/10 service to the beautiful girls that served me last weekend at Lunas gelateria. If you’re looking for the perfect treat after dinner definitely head down to Lunas! They have the best variety of Gelato and Sorbets if your looking for something that is dairy free 😍 Also big thank you to the manger that pulled out a whole new tub of Sea Salt Caramel for my daughter who is coeliac 🩷 Will definitely be back!! Nice selection of food, quite a few gluten-free options on the menu and in the cabinet. I'm not sure if it is suitable for celiac's, so I would ask first. Service was friendly and quick. Coffee was great and nice to have a choice of beans. Look forward to visiting again.

We have been loving the New Yorker hot dogs and ice cream pizzas for a while from the lake front and so stocked to see them expand to a permanent shop in town and now expand to bagels. The great thing as vegans is they have a vegan hot dog and vegan ice cream pizza that is also gluten free. This is a must stop if you are a visitor to town or a local looking for some authentic American hotdogs. The whole family will love it. I ate the tasty food too quickly to take a photo 😂
