We love the staff and food at The Chippy. Very Accomodating for celiacs with batter and separate fryer. Even have suitable vinegar for celiacs. Food is cooked from fresh to order. We come back here every time.
With a vibrant atmosphere, expect freshly cooked dishes bursting with flavor and a menu packed with plenty of options to suit everyone's tastes.

We went there for the first time last night and can’t say enough good things about it. The food is amazing, we ordered the sharing platter for the of us and it could definitely feed four. The hightlights were definitely the treacle BBQ brisket and the smoked ribs. We will definitely be returning as sadly we didn’t have any room for dessert and it looks amazing. Huge added plus was you can get most of the menu made gluten free. We can’t recommend the Copper Smokehouse enough.

Had a wonderful family night out. Carvery was amazing great choice of meats and a large selection of vegetables all very well cooked and presented. Meal was all nice and hot. Gluten free options were also provided. Nothing was to much trouble. Staff polite and courteous in bar and restaurant. Will definitely return and recommend.

Really can't fault anything. We were a party of 6 adults, 1 child and a baby, and we really couldn't have asked for a more attentive, friendly and accommodating member of staff to wait at our table. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was fabulous, and our gluten-free diner was really impressed with the range of gluten-free choices - and with their meal.
I wasn't expecting everything to be so good! We will certainly be visiting again soon. Our sincere thanks for such a lovely experience!
Enjoy a unique spot with ample parking, great fish selection, and tasty options served in a crisp, thin batter—definitely worth a visit!

When we arrived at the restaurant the staff behind the counter were hostile which was really unwelcoming. I asked for gluten free cod, which for some reason was tiny in comparison to the regular gluten battered cod. My daughter's food took until we had finished to arrive so we asked to take it away, which seemed to be a big inconvenience for them and they actually made several sarcastic remarks. To add to all of this, the chips tasted like they'd been cooked in 4 days old oil so we probably ate 4 chips out of the mountain of stale old chips we were given.

Lovely place. I totally recommend a visit if you are in the area. They do their own cakes and pastries. Comfortable place, really nice people attending. Has become really popular so better reserve in advance. The oat gluten free dark hot chocolate is really nice and you can take it take away and walk around the park near or get a pic nic.

Have enjoyed an excellent breakfast here verbal communication on allergen options was excellent. I definitely recommend it. Staff are very nice and helpful. Allergen menu is clear for dietary options of vegans (V, VE) and vegetarian but visual signposting non existent for allergens particularly gluten (GF) Allergens written in red on the allergen menu and you can trawl through and read the small print to see what you can eat. It is all there so book early and bring your reading glasses. Breakfast ends before 11 and lunch starts at 12 so arrive before or after if you want to eat. Could only get a coffee before the machine was shut down today. This is a really nice venue, family friendly, near the Premier Inn, plenty of parking. Accessible. I hope to see an improvement on the allergy menu and will visit again and look forward to updating this post should it be improved!
Unique spot with delightful cooking experiences and amazing aromas.

Amazing pizzas. Gluten free base that wasn't just from the supermarket, dairy free cheese for those avoiding milk and fast service. If I'm ever back in the area I'd visit again.

Excellent service, staff well informed on gluten free options. They can cook food separately if needed. The website has a tick box and then excludes food you need to avoid making it easier to look through the menus. They have food all day and a small overlap time when you can choose between brunch and lunch. Sat outside in the sun, nice deck surrounded by trees. You barely know its near a road. Good food, accesible access is from the side of the building as stairs from the car park. Good facilities, hot chocolate is good, fruit juice isgooda nd breakfast is great!
I watched a wasp eat what it wanted then harvest a piece of steak. Appropriate for a Harvester restaurant. It certainly seemed to approve!
