We just love coming here after a late return home from work. The menu is diverse enough to suit our varying tastes when we can't face cooking. I absolutely love the tapas approach, and my husband swears by the burgers. Best dessert, as recommended by Dan, is the gluten free cheesecake with mixed berries. So delicious, light and with the added satisfaction of feeling as if it's that little bit better for you! Friendly, helpful staff and relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. What's not to love...
We ordered a shakshuka and it was really incredible. Very tasty and nicely presented.
Both waitresses helped us with gluten and dairy free options.
Suggestion: add almond milk to options
We had delicious afternoon tea but did rather bring down the average age on the clientele!
We weren't sure what to expect and it appears to be part of a retirement village but the restaurant itself was very pleasant and comfortable. Sandwiches and cakes were plentiful, served in deco style, 3 tier tea displays, and tea was "bottomless". The gluten free selection was really good too. Not sure whether the cakes were made in house or not but they were nice, and the sandwiches were fresh.
The staff were friendly and efficient so all in all we had a lovely couple of hours catching up!
