Great food and service, we had the gluten free fish and chips, came with gf mushy peas and vinegar as well which is all very exciting for someone who struggles to find gluten free fish and chips, would highly recommend
Made a reservation for tea. Requested a gluten-free setup and was pleased with the choices presented...very yummy! The tea was delicious with the service spot on. Very cozy place I hope to visit again đź«–đź’š
Went here with my son, wife and two very young children, for Sunday lunch,, had to pre book as my D, I, Law, is strictly Gluten Free, they were very accommodating,,... Good food, roast beef beautifully cooked as was the rest of the food, lovely, polite efficient attentive waitress service, and good value for money, it was great that the boys were able to share a child's portion, well worth a visit 🙂
I have eaten there during the day, it's a nice atmosphere but a little expensive for just a light lunch
Called to order takeaway. My wife is coeliac so requested a pasta dish with gluten free penne. The guy who took the call said they were too busy to cook gluten free pasta and suggested choosing something else. When I asked what he would suggest he replied “well you have the menu.”
When I asked why the pasta wasn’t an option he said it would take at least half an hour to boil the penne.
30 mins to cook pasta that anywhere else takes 8 minutes…
So we ordered from Mangiare instead. They were also very busy but happily took the order and we picked it up 15 mins later.
A lovely restaurant that feels more like an independent family place rather than part of a chain.
Delicious food with a good selection of gluten free options. A nice cocktail menu is an added bonus.
The restaurant was cute and modern. We ordered a traditional grazer platter and it took 45 minutes to come, it was so disappointing when it came. When the platter came, it was so disappointing that we had to wait so long for something that seemed and tasted like it had come out a tescos packet. Definitely not worth the ÂŁ38 for a 2 person platter, it wasn't filling and didn't feel worth the price. They didn't have any gluten free bread either. Would probably recommend for a deli sandwich off their menu, which is priced well. However, I wouldn't recommend the platter.
