Great menu in a great location. Lovely gluten free pizza available. Good range of drinks. Dog-friendly. Service was excellent - but we did go mid-afternoon.
Will go again.

the 4th time we’ve visited this trip to Newquay… that must say it all?
The cheese and onion pasty is incredible, so much filling and so cheesy.
The Gluten Free options are second to none, it’s always difficult finding GF options, they offer puddings as well as a variety of pasty’s, a GF full English too 🤤
10/10 highly recommended and will 100% be back.
Charming spot with lovely views, seasonal menu, and cozy vibes, perfect for a relaxed drink and a leisurely visit.

Popped in for a drink then decided to have something to eat as the food looked lovely.
Staff were very accommodating to us and our dog.
Food )roast) was lovely although could have been a little hotter
Price was fair £18 I think which is bout average
Will definitely return. Also recommended it to family who eat gluten free so took photo of menu.

We visited the lakeside cafe whilst on holiday , we were a table of 8. 4 adults , 2 toddlers , 2 newborns and we also had the dog. 1 member of our party has coeliac disease and the staff were amazing. They were incredibly knowledgeable about cross contamination and what contains gluten. They were easily able to adjust things on the menu to suit. I would strongly recommend the goats cheese and root veg ciabatta it was to die for.
Thank you Lakeside x

The BEST place for ice cream. The staff were so happy and lovely. They had dairy free ice cream and gluten free cones. My 7yo with these allergies said it was the best day of his life :0) We had to go back for seconds in the afternoon.
With a lively vibe and stunning views, this spot features various vendors under one roof, perfect for a fun day out.

Great pizzas, great ingredients and great atmosphere inside and out, even gluten free bases available.
We chose to eat outside as had two dogs who like their space, but we still had great service and food.
I ate my gluten free Napoli that fast I didn't take a picture, but did of my mates mushroom truffle one.
Check the opening times before a visit, but worth waiting for ..

It's hard to come across good sushi in Cornwall- they've got a really great variety of dishes, very tasty and beautifully presented. The restaurant itself is quite tiny but takeout is an option and the beach isn't far away.
Gluten free options were clearly marked and staff were good at describing dishes (I'm not too keen on spice). Veggie options also looked good and it's one of the few places I've found really nice beef nigiri.
This spot offers fantastic flavors with fresh tacos and a unique drinks vending machine for quick sips—perfect for a fun outing!

A very disappointing experience. I booked a table for my wife and myself three weeks in advance. It was to be a special meal for my wife’s 70th Birthday. I asked for a table with a sea view by the window. We were really looking forward to a seafood platter as it is my wife’s favourite. A few days beforehand I popped in to the restaurant to make sure that the platter was gluten free as my wife is celiac. I was assured that this was no problem for the chef. On the day we arrived for the meal we were shown to a table on the second row back from the window even though there was a spare window table. Which was taken 30 minutes later by a single gentleman. Then to our great disappointment we were told that the seafood platter was not gluten free and the chef could do nothing to alter this. This suggests to me that the seafood is not fresh but frozen. We spoke to the Manager who apologised (for ruining my wife’s evening she had been looking forward to for several weeks) and said she would speak to the owner. If you are planning a special celebration meal I certainly would not recommend the Fish house restaurant.
