We brought a challenge to Babycakes of creating a gluten, dairy, egg and processed sugar free cake for my wife's birthday. They experimented with a couple options and finally created a chocolate cake with vanilla frosting using local honey as the sweetener. It was delicious and a huge hit for the party. We were especially grateful because finding that kind of dessert is pretty rare around here and they were willing to expand on what they'd previously offered. So if you have something out of the norms for baked goods, they should be the first place you check out.

Highly recommend especially if you need to eat gluten free. Husband has celiac and KP, our wonderful server, made note to the chef as to avoid cross contamination. He started out with the truffle seasoned fries which was a huge treat. Main course was coconut curry with chicken. He said it was so full of flavor and ate every bit! I glutened myself with the chicken sandwich with fries. Took half home - too much for me to eat.
A hidden gem with amazing spices, large portions, and a unique menu that keeps people coming back for more—definitely a local favorite.

Feels like this is the best food in town. Came back 3 times in 3 days for the cheesy grits cakes. Amazing spices and flavors on everything, large portions, and an entire gluten free menu. Excellent service as well.

I had placed an order through DoorDash, with one of our pizzas being gluten free, and they took the time to call to ask about allergy vs preference, due to how they prepare the pizza. I love this!! Thank you so much for the care and the great food 🙌🏼

Food was good, but had several issues with the experience. Waitress did not use notepad and took our orders (7 of us). Came back without chicken or salad dressing on a salad, boneless wings instead of bone in (also we asked for BBQ sauce and the waitress came back and said they were out of buffalo… which we didn’t ask for), waited 30 minutes for drinks, it took over 1.5 hours to get any food, then half of the meals came out 20 minutes later (after those people were done eating), asked for more ketchup and ranch but waitress completely forgot.
One plus side is that I got a gluten free pizza and it came baked in a separate tin container to avoid cross contamination.
Several issues could have been avoided if the waitress just wrote down the orders. Other issues came from the kitchen not preparing the food correctly. Overall, not a great experience.
Experience a cozy spot with local roasted coffee, fun seasonal flavors, and a great selection of unique baked goods to enjoy.

I have always had a lovely experience at Contrast. It’s my go-to for fun flavored coffee drinks and gluten free muffins, brownies and cookies! Highly recommended.
I love this place! My favorite is the monkey bread though I have found I have a gluten sensitivity so I had to switch to gluten free items. Today I had the yogurt parfait which is GF and was delicious 🤤 I have not had anything here that I did not like! Macarons are yummy and made fresh.

Teriyaki bowl is my go to favorite food in Marquette! You won't find nicer staff and great chefs! Fresh, tasty. great portions. I love Teriyaki bowl tofu and they make it extra crispy as I ask. Gluten free options. I've recently discovered their sesame balls. OMG where have these been hiding? SO GOOD! The staff are so cheerful here, they make the gray skies brighten up!
Took forever to get my food when I ordered curbside not inside, also I get charged and extra $2 just to have a gluten free bun which I NEED to have and I go to eat my food and it's not there. Disappointment is all I feel
It was a nice sunny day so it was great for lunch. I had hoped for a piece of fush as I eat lowcarb and cannot have dairy/gluten. Lunch was a soup and sandwich menu. I opted for a grilled chicken minus the bun and a sude salad. The chucken was a bit dry. Server and service was wonderful.
we usually LOVE this place and stop there every trip through Marquette but tonight was a dud. The portion sizes we were served were tiny, the famous orange sauce tasted off and all three of us were served stale chips. ☹️. Gosh I hope this is an anomaly because Border Grill is a real gluten free safe haven for my wife and tonight was a real letdown.
For a person with gluten and dairy free dietary requirement, this is a great place. I could have a vegan gluten free BLT sandwich (delicious vegan bacon!) and a great soy latte. Perfect lunch break place. Nice setting and smiling people. I will for sure come back.
Sooooo grateful to have Dia De Los Tacos back in the saddle!! This award-winning culinary vehicle serves up excellent tacos (both vegetarian and meaty) that are gluten free. It's the most delicious 'mexican' food in town, inexpensive, and full of great flavor and spice. Check them out (locations are posted on Instagram).
A must-visit spot for a quick, tasty lunch where you can always expect a warm welcome and exceptional service.

The food is always delicious and it’s a convenient place to stop for lunch. Laurie is especially nice and goes out of her way to make a gluten-free meal for me every time! I have celiac and have never had a problem. I definitely recommend coming here.

Omelet was the best ever and hash browns cooked perfectly. Gluten free, no flour in the omelet. And wide selection of hot teas. Nice environment and comfortable seating. Staff was very courteous and knowledgeable. Perfect place. Have on my Favorites list. Also ordered a salad to go for later. Chicken cherry salad, very good. They serve breakfast all day and lunch/ dinner.

Super delicious beef bowl. Husband got pita beef sandwich. All of it was so tasty! Love having more really good eating options in the area. Would love to see a gluten free bread on the menu so we can enjoy the sandwiches as well 😊
Great choice for quick pick up in town. Easy to take home heat it and eat it. Good gluten free pizza! We use this pizza place more than any other in Marquette- consistently good.😊👍🏼
I was pretty pleased with the gluten free options! The sushi definitely wasn’t my favorite but hey, it’s Marquette. Attaching the menu for my gluten free besties :)
