Wanted to order gluten free penne vodka, which I was glad that they had GF option, even if it was $5 extra, I wanted to try it. The total was $13, but by adding grilled chicken, the price shot up to $28!!! When I asked the girl on phone, she said “yes, it’s charging more than $10 for the chicken”. I declined and canceled the order. Charging additional for GF pasta is expected. I wasn’t expecting it to be $5, but still, I was going to try it. But charging $15 for grilled chicken is insane and unethical.

This place claims to have gluten free options for people with celiac disease, but still manages to mess up the order. I came to this restaurant with a few friends. I specifically informed the server about my severe gluten allergy, and requested corn tortillas with the veggie fajitas I ordered. However, they mistakenly gave me flour tortillas, which I didn't realize at the time since I have not eaten flour tortillas in over 9 years. After I got home, I began experiencing symptoms of an allergic reaction, which included an itchy throat/difficulty breathing, throwing up all the food I had eaten, and hives all over my body. I contacted the restaurant the next day, and the manager assured me they would call me back. After waiting 4 days with no call back, I followed up, and they simply only said sorry. I asked for a refund for the entire bill, even though that doesn’t make up for what I had gone through the night of the allergic reaction. The manager told me that they would’ve only given me my money back if the reaction had happened at the restaurant, which does not make any sense. Clearly, there was no resolution. I will not be coming back here.

I have celiac and am dairy free and felt very safe dining here. Ordered a gluten free bolognese and it was DELICIOUS and the mocktails/cocktails were fantastic as well. Can’t wait to come here again!

Food was very good and the prep show was fun. We would go again. They were very accommodating to gluten-free needs, but adding $4 for them to cook my food with GF soy sauce is a bit extreme. A 2-quart container of GF soy sauce retails for $20; so charging me $4 for the 1/4 cup they used for my food prep equates to over $120 for 2-quarts. My celiac disease shouldn't be their profit center; I hope they reconsider.

Amazing family, child friendly, girls, date friendly crepe abd waffles restaurant. They have the best Italian American style chicken and waffles ever. So fun and pretty. 10 star service. The churro icecream was amazing. Great churros. glutenfree options.
