The gluten free crust is very tastey BUT unfortunately this place is not celiacs safe. I’ve had the pizza here many times and I always get sick. Cross contamination is unavoidable which makes sense for a pizza place.
So good!! Got the Gluten free holy burger with small fries and gluten free chicken tenders. Holy sauce is so yummy. The Burger bun was very soft -very solid burger! I haven't had chicken tenders in so long they are SO DELICIOUS. They're gonna be sick of me!
I got a vegan and gluten-free bacon egg and cheese. It's not often that I get that experience, and I love this place for that on its own. Grateful to have this vegan bodega in Brooklyn within walking distance.
Had the amazing -- and inexpensive !! salmon tacos here, served on (handmade?) delicious corn tortillas 😋 which are very much appreciated by this gluten-allergic customer! Wow, the raw tuna ones sounded delicious as well -- love the Japo/Mexi melting pot that is this place!
This is my go-to healthy food spot in the neighborhood. I like the ital stew, yucca cake, and the curry chicken stew is so good! The food feels fresh and nutritious and is good value. Gluten-free friendly.
Awesome service and awesome empanadas! Great option if you’re gluten free. They have a back room to reserve for bigger groups too! So glad they opened one closer to home.
I came here on a recommendation from a local barista who raved about The Fly and here. i wanted to like it more, but the experience as someone who couldn't have gluten was lacking. I opted for two smaller dishes because the only main dish option would have been a whole fish and some ramps. I wanted a bit more variety, so I got the Louisiana prawns w/capers (hot) and asparagus & mortadella (cold). The prawns came out first, and the asparagus arrived when I was about halfway through. They were both tasty and balanced dishes, but I was disappointed because I had no way to enjoy the garlic-y buttery broth from the prawns or the flavorful dressing on the asparagus because there was no gluten-free bread. The folks seated next to me were digging into their small plates with hulks of delicious looking bread. I felt like i missed out on a major part of the experience of the dish. My server could have done a better job of recommending dishes. I'd give this place another chance if I were with a friend and could justify trying more dishes.
My friend and I have become regulars here, the food is so good I’m addicted to the barratta and the gluten free patty bread I never remember what it’s called but I love it. The server is always nice and down to earth. This is one of my favorite places in nyc. I like everyone who works here!
Ordered the veggie burrito bowl. A great option for vegetarians, vegans and people looking for gluten free options just tell them to hold the sour crème. The bowl basically has grilled veggies like eggplant, squash, tomatoes etc over a bed of yellow rice. It comes over a tortilla wrap however you can tell them to exclude or just not eat it. In times where you’re hungry and need a full meal this hits the spot. Great flavors, fresh ingredients and made to order. My favorite place for a Mexican style veggie bowl.
Quick, affordable, massive menu. Would have been easier for us if gluten free was more clearly marked but they were so generous with servings and service other than that quick and kind that it didn't really matter 🩷
The post workout açaí bowl was so good it made me cry. The balance of flavors and textures were out of this world. Exactly what I was craving. It’s hard to find gluten free, tummy-friendly take out. They nailed it. I will be dreaming about this bowl. The chef truly understands my gut.
Great cozy, homey, not cheugy vibes. Wonderful service. Great gluten free options, great vegetarian options. And BYOB no cork fee! What more can you ask for
