Did a Google search of gluten free restaurants near me while in Manhattan and this restaurant popped up, 8 minutes away from where I was. A non vegan, gluten free option? I was on it like white on rice. Walked across, hopped in and I was not disappointed. The staff was warm and friendly and the aroma from the food was very appealing. While I read the menu options my stomach was practically screaming at me to hurry and order, but everything looked so good, I couldn't decide. I ordered the plancha chicken, black beans and corn, seasoned basmati rice, maple carrots and avocado... No regrets! It was delicious, it was filling. When I'm back in the US, I'll definitely make my way back for more.

Incredible food. Best fried rice I ever had. Ever. Matcha cheesecake was unbelievable. Also, service was great and the kitchen was very knowledgeable about allergies/dietary restrictions. I can’t eat gluten, corn, or peanuts and our waitress marked up a menu for me which was super helpful. Nice dine-in spot with comfy chairs but not too formal. For the quality of the food, very reasonably priced. Next time I’m on 5th Ave, I will be going back!

I recently moved into this neighborhood for work, (One block south across the street from The Smith). I have eaten here a half dozen times now easy and just love the food, the atmosphere and the amazing service. Want to say thank you to everyone there for creating an amazing space that serves clean delicious food. Had a friend who's child was gluten sensitive and they went out of their way to create a dish she could enjoy. I love the salmon, and I mean clean the plate kind of love. Great job everyone at the Smith and probably see you soon! Did I mention they make a killer Manhattan? yea the drinks are good too.

Like all sweetgreens. Lots of salad options in this neighborhood. Small amount of indoor seating. Easy to eat gluten free and vegan.

They have gluten-free products, but be careful, ask what they are. We tried a burrito that was quite delicious. They also have many natural juices and smoothies.

The food was absolutely delicious! The tacos are a pretty good size and have plenty of food/toppings on them (they’re not stingy! ). The chips were extra crunchy and the salsa had the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. There are gluten free and vegetarian options. I can’t wait to visit again!

the food was amazing, I was uneasy about the eggs Norwegian but our server angel assured me he would accommodate my gluten allergy and it turned out delicious. the atmosphere was amazing and so was our server. will definitely be returning with family

So delicious! Went here for dinner two days in a row. Loved the lobster hand roll. The margarita was great too. There is a deal where you can get 5 hand rolls for about $40. If you are gluten free, you can purchase tamari as a side sauce. The vegan/vegetarian rolls are extremely flavourful.

My company ordered lunch for 15 colleagues, due to an error by GrubHub or the restaurant, we were not getting the order within our scheduled time. I went to Avo to see if I could place an order quickly from them. The manager saw my dilemma and got one of the servers to create 4 family size salads, made Vegan and Gluten Free suggestions, and had my order ready in 15 minutes. The order was heavy and to my surprise the manager carried most of the order back to my location. The choices he gave us was enjoyed by all and now we now have a location to order individually but we know we will get great service for our events. Thank you Avo, and my apologies that in my haste, I forgot your name.l dearest Manager. But will be back very soon to thank you in person.

Awesome Mexican food and drinks! The tacos are great and they can easily accommodate for gluten free and dairy free food! Staff was so attentive and kind! Loved it! Also, music and atmosphere are great!
