Absolutely loved this place. My girlfriend is gluten free and had been craving the taste of beer since she found out she couldn’t have gluten anymore. The owner’s wife has celiac I believe, or can’t have gluten for some reason, so they have multiple beers with either no gluten or gluten reduced!! The atmosphere was awesome and we had a delicious gluten free pizza as well. We will definitely be back if we are ever out that way again!!
First time to the loaded goat. first time to Mt Airy.... service was excellent. food was equally excellent and the price was very reasonable. it says when you first come in that this is not fast food... thank goodness it wasn't 🙂 The hamburgers were very tasty and the gluten-free bun was super. I have had the bad experience of having a gluten-free bun that was hard as a rock... this was anything but hard. it was very soft and very tasty. and there was no charge over and above for the gluten-free bun. that was a plus! I will definitely come back when I'm back in Mt Airy.
There was ham under the cheese of my pizza and i never ordered ham under my cheese on my gluten free pizza and it gave me an allergic reaction and im now in the hospital here in mt airy being closely watched
Please note: As of 2023 NO MORE GLUTEN FREE DONUTS! They are no longer able to get the mix from the manufacturer. They do however make fresh vanilla cake donuts (not gluten free) daily.
But I still enjoy stopping by! Went through the drive-thru and got an iced white chocolate caramel latte. It was delicious, with fresh house-made cream on top. Extremely friendly service with a smile, will definitely come back 😊
Our first visit to Soho Bar and Grill. It was a wonderful experience. We had the Vietnamese pot stickers as an appatiser, my wife had Pad Thai and I had the Soho Salmon Salad - the food was delicious, portions were very generous, and presented well. Service was outstanding and our server made sure my wife's celiac disease needs were carefully addressed.
A very special place!
This was our favorite restaurant we ate at while on vacation in Mount Airy. I had the Pulled or Chopped Pork Sandwich and my husband had the Sliced Pork Sandwich. They were both delicious!
The Baked Beans and Cole Slaw were fantastic. We liked the decor and my favorite thing was the fact that they offered not one, but two different Gluten Free Barbeque sauces. I am allergic to regular BBQ sauces, so I was thrilled to have the GF selections. Also, we aren't big fans of the NC vinegar-based BBQ sauces either. My husband ate one of the GF choices and thought it was real good.
Can't wait to go back on my next trip!
