What a little gem in Mitchell. The food is fresh, delicious and delivered with care, the staff are friendly and the restaurant is delightful. I would like to mention wonderful Colleen, who went above and beyond to inform me of their gluten free options which I greatly appreciated. We will definitely become regulars at this lovely establishment.

My wife and I loved our club sandwiches with the gluten free bread. The staff was super nice and accommodating. Will come back here for sure next time we are in town.
If you are traveling with anyone who has severe food allergies, please do yourself a favor and stop in here! We were delighted and relieved to find this very good restaurant. The staff and at least one of the owners were very accommodating, listened and assured us that our order for our three year old who has severe dairy, but, egg, and wheat/gluten allergies would be safe. Not only was he safe, we all enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Thank you El Columpia!!! It's hard to find such a gem on the road and those dealing with food allergies know- but even if you just want a fun, delicious, affordable, special treat you should consider El Columpia. We sure are glad we did - oh, and spoiler alert, they have swings IN the restaurant- they are for adults but you know anyone who is creative and fun enough to think of that in their design will be creative and fun with food as well.
