Aiden was an energetic host and server that kept the coffee mugs full. The food was outstanding. The bake potatoe omlette was an unexpected yum (the green onions really made the flavor pop). My sister had plenty of gluten free options, her pancakes actually had flavor. Don't care for the diner look but I am old school. I miss the cozy home feel of the original location.
A charming, intimate spot with warm lighting, unique artwork, and a perfect vibe for a casual date or celebration.

Was in Austin for business and met up my boy @etiisdope for lunch. This spot is located by his job and if you know Etinosa you know he is very picky. I was intrigued by him saying this spot off rip.
We walk up and the owner? is ripping a heater out front reading the paper ✅. We walk in and it’s basically just us, we get our drink order taken by a lady. After we get our drinks the man walks in and talks to the woman. She then grabs her stuff, leaves, and I don’t see her again lol. The owner? I guess then takes care of us the rest of the meal. Really peculiar lol.
Chicken Parm 8/10 - flavor was packing never lacking. It wasn’t super insanely hot like it sometimes happens with chicken parm. Really thin chicken piece so sometimes I was just eating the breading that’s somehow Gluten Free. Gotta love Austin lol
This is as hole in the wall as it gets but it’s also like built to be a date spot? It’s fine dining where you can hop out and go to Talbots lol.

Food is delicious! Recently they added dish: grilled salmon with vegetables. I enjoyed it so much, since I can’t have gluten, and my family usually eats pizza or pasta there. House wine is worthy to try, as well as coffee. This place often very crowded and because of this very noisy.
Burgers, fries, and monthly shakes steal the show here, making it a top spot for casual bites and tasty treats!

Their burgers, fries and sauce are great, and they’ve got respectful cashiers. Also, their regular shakes and shakes of the month are fantastic. I do wish they had gluten free buns, but in the meantime I just ask for no bun. As far as burger places go, p terrys definitely gets 5 stars.
I actually like the flavor and texture of DoubleDave's pizza. I think most people gloss over it, especially in Austin, because it's a chain restaurant with a somewhat "corporate" atmosphere. However, their pizzas have great sauce, good cheese, and I like the thickness of the crust. I also like the size of each slice--they are cut a little bit smaller, which prevents me from eating too many slices in one sitting! Truth be told, I like their pepperoni rolls even more than their pizza.
Good place to bring the family. They do have a full salad bar for those who are gluten free. They deliver as well.
A vibrant spot with shaded seating and outdoor fans, perfect for grabbing a bite and enjoying live music and cocktails nearby.

We ate here on their opening day and the food was so good. They have so many gluten free options, more than most of the Indian restaurants in South West Austin!! Even though they were swamped on their opening day all of the employees were pleasant and friendly. There are plenty of shaded areas to sit. They had some outdoor fans for those really hot Austin days too. There is another food truck next to them that serves delicious Mexican food and tacos. Manolis Ice Cream is right next door and you can catch some live music and get some cocktails at Oak Hill Social which is also right next door. This little compound is such a cool and super casual spot to visit and get some yummy grub and relax! Highly recommend Indian Flames food truck!!!
A welcoming spot with a thoughtful menu that highlights dietary options, making it great for those with specific needs.

Have always experienced great food and service here. Also appreciate that the team is knowledgeable and accommodating of dietary restrictions, such as gluten free. Including having a menu that clearly indicates which sauces are and are not safe and offering tamari sauce in place of soy sauce.
Jj's has a sandwhich for everyone. Vegetarians, meat eaters, and gluten fre-ers! Always as quick as they advertise to be, I eat here atleast twice a week for lunch and I've never had a sandwhich made incorrectly. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Delivery is always timely as well. Not to mention it's the bread that makes the sandwhich! It's the perfect size! Writing this review makes me want another one!!
