I eat at palios where ever I can find one but this one is the worst. If I could give no stars I would. Dirty tables everywhere.asked if I could sub gluten free crust due to having celiac I've never had a problem before they just do an upcharge not here. The lady had to ask the manager and when she came to the counter had a nasty attitude asking me what my problem was. I explained I have celiac need gluten free was told they would not upccharge the lunch had to buy separate ok fine. Ordered a salad no croutons gluten allergy came with croutons was told by manager to pick them off um NO. Watched the cook in the back make my pizza with same gloves as touching other dough again a big no that's why I explained the gluten ALLERGY. Again the young brown hair female manager seen no problem here. ALL the other ones I have been to are not disrespectful to a gluten allergy that's why I always eat there. Big mistake to eat at the one in Granbury. And again shame shame on the manager for being so nasty and rude. If your having a bad day work in the back not with the customers also thanks for setting my disease that I can not help off and making me have a bad day because you didn't care about making my 23.00 SMALL pizza right. I pray you never have to deal with a allergy. NEVER EATING HWRE AGAIN AND WILL SPREAD THE WORD NOT TO EAT HERE. MANAGER SUCKS
As someone with a gluten intolerance I can't describe how good there gf pasta is, you can't even tell the texture and taste is amazing. Really great restaurant and staff.
Great with gluten free options! Celiac safe! I have had Celiac for 7 years and babes fried catfish is amazing. The potatoes are delicious and the cream corn is good too. The only things that aren't is the rolls, gravy, and fried chicken (obviously).
I love Schlotzky's! Living in Houston in the 70s-80s, at times I drove across town in rush hour traffic for an Original Schkotzky's sandwich. 😍 Their menu has expanded a great deal. Now their gluten-free items and salads are my choice ... except ... I still indulge an Original now and then. Clean, healthy, delicious food at reasonable prices. Family-friendly atmosphere.
Went here for breakfast. Riley was the shift lead and she was awesome. Took our order. Made sure she got it right. We had gluten free buns with our sandwiches and everything came out perfect.
We recently ate at Stumpy's, and they were excellent! From their gluten-free options to tasty food and a wonderful atmosphere (on the water!), we were so impressed. Great job Stumpy's!!
My wife selected Restaurant Anise to celebrate our 33rd anniversary. She has some food sensitivities, so she called the restaurant a few days in advance and the chef was able to modify some of their dishes to be both dairy free and gluten free. The chef also offered to make a custom dessert for her.
The dining room only has about 10 tables, but is both elegant and intimate. The servers were friendly, attentive, and very helpful.
My wife enjoyed the chilled avocado soup with braised rabbit, frutti di mare, and a poached pear for dessert. I had the mixed greens, bison strip loin, and meat and cheese plate for dessert.
The mixed greens were light and flavorful with bacon, blue cheese, and a soft-boiled egg. My bison was perfectly cooked and accompanied by roasted carrots, Yukon mash, and fava beans. My dessert was a flavorful meat and cheese plate.
All of our dishes were artistically plated - making dinner an experience for the eyes, nose, and taste buds.
Restaurant Anise has a fairly small menu, as it is a small restaurant, but chef Megan Potts changes the menu monthly to provide variety.
Overall, Restaurant Anise is an excellent choice for our anniversary dinner or any fine dining occasion.
Our waiter Joe was super friendly and aware of dietary needs (gluten free) and came back to confirm part of our order (extra care appreciated for dietary restrictions!!) Joe was also very attentive throughout the meal and until we left. There was so much food on our plates we got to go boxes and there's enough left a 2nd meal each. Everything was delicious. Pan fried potatoes were a favorite. We had grilled schnitzel, meatballs, bratwurst. Would have it all again but excited to try something new next time! Their sweet tea is also perfect, not over steeped and not too sweetened!
What a cute little café! I took my 3yo daughter there on an impulse, hoping there was something gluten and dairy free. They accommodated (probably not 100%, but close) and my daughter loved it!
Took the family there this morning and had a wonderful breakfast. Everything tastes great and is reasonable. I had the La Bordeaux and the strawberry shortcake crépe. New favorite date spot!
A lovely lunch place. I got two quail breasts with bacon, cheese and a smoky mango salsa plus french fries. I am gluten free. It was a slider sandwich but I ate it minus the bread. Will stop here again when I am on the way to Dallas.
