I have been dining at this restaurant regularly for a few months, now that I've moved to Houston. My first experience was a couple of years ago. Since then, I would dine here most of the times I'd visit Houston, before I moved here. I have not had anything on the menu that I've disliked. In my opinion, you can't go wrong. I love the staff. I have always had a positive experience. As someone who suffers with food intolerances, namely gluten and dairy, it is always appreciated when there are gluten free and vegan options. The staff and chefs are happy to accommodate my intolerances with substitutions or alterations. This is always much appreciated. The only downside I can think of, is it will get busy during peak dining times. I tend to dine there during the off hours when it's slow, but you will be in for a wait during the lunch or dinner rush. Even so, I still have a positive experience, and I don't mind the wait. I do want to give a shout out to my recent waiter and waitress: Danny and Annalise. They went above and beyond by listening to my needs, making accommodations, and ensuring I was taken care of. I thank you both and all the staff that make Hungry's one of my favorite places to dine!

Delicious vegan Sunday brunch at Heartbeet, on Memorial near Dairy Ashford West of town. Shares parking lot with Hungrys restaurant; parking very tight for brunch. No dedicated handicapped spaces. Good ambiance, lots of indoor seating and covered outdoor patio seating. Clean bathrooms. High chairs available. Very well seasoned tofu migas with black beans, housemade salsa, sides of crispy home fries & fresh fruit. Refreshing tumeric ginger tonic was good thirst quencher for a warm late spring Sunday. Companion enjoyed her quinoa bowl with beet hummus, made gluten free upon request. Good sized portions

Friendly, dependable and great quality. A nice new coffee shop with comfortable seating and helpful staff. In the UK though the Starbucks franchises offer several hot and cold gluten or wheat free options that are not available in the US cafes. Not everyone wants a xold salad as their only food option on a chilly day.

Awesome coffee & Froyo! They have many tasty gluten free frozen yogurt options & they do latte art. They make their coffee strong so only get a double if you really want a kick. Update for 2021: I have been going here for years and they are still awesome! I like how they have outside seating so I can avoid people's germs.

Ate here this evening for the first time and the service, food, atmosphere and drinks were fantastic!! As a vegetarian, I loved the veggie burger with feta and house chips! My gluten free friend enjoyed the salmon. The GM, Rob Thomas, was so helpful and made sure that our gluten-free, dairy-free friend enjoyed an amazing dark chocolate, strawberry thimble and berry array for dessert! The rest of us enjoyed an array of cheesecake, red velvet cake and brownies!! We will be back for sure!! Thanks for the great memory!
