Walking into Alberto's Lounge there's an immediate ambiance with the music and moody lighting. We were immediately met by the host who took her time asking us about our night and any special occasions before guiding us to our table.
As someone who's gluten intolerant I was worried I wouldn't be able to enjoy many of the dishes on the menu, but was pleasantly surprised almost everything could be made gluten free!
We asked our server about what dishes she'd recommend and went with the Tonno (seared tuna), (Cotechino) spiced sausage with lentils, Fusili con brasato di capra (slow braised goat pasta), and a side of rainbow chard. We opted for a sangiovese to pair with our food which went beautifully.
Our favourite dish of the night was the Cotechino which was so unique, and the perfect dish to have on a cold rainy night. A great date night spot and looking forward to the next visit.
