Antica Trattoria

This place is SO GOOD. Piera, the co-owner of the restaurant, is from Sicily -- and the food tasted like it was from there. I haven't had good, authentic Italian food in quite some time, and this place went above and beyond my expectations. It felt like I was back in Italy. We tried so much of the menu, all of which was spectacular. I'm gluten-free, and I had the lobster risotto, which was amazing. Piera served us and was very knowledgeable about dietary restrictions. Wine selections were also fantastic and imported straight from Italy. Overall, very very very good experience. I'll be doing a trip just for dinner from Arlington -- food was that good!

Fabulous birthday dinners at this wonderful, friendly place in Old Town Winchester. The food was perfect (Scialatiella allo scoglio and Branzino alla puttanesca) and the service was even better (thank you, Autumn Marie and Piera!). The authentic Italian desserts (tiramisu and a gluten free chocolate cake) were a delicious end to a great evening! Thanks to all for welcoming us first timers to the Antica Trattoria. I'm sure we'll be back. Highly recommend!
