Celebrated a friend's birthday here. Our wonderful server, Eric, started out by giving us some history of the building and space we were in, which was really cool! They're opening up a big rooftop deck in July 2022 and we'll definitely be back to check that out. Atmosphere was great.
For the five of us, we shared some steaks for the table. From the fattier to the lean cuts (and I'm a rib eye girl to the core) all cooked and seasoned well. We also tried several sides, and the wedge salad, all of which were good. I'm not the biggest collards fan, but enjoyed theirs.
The cocktails were varied and good. From new to classic. Even a Tequila flight. The crowd favorite Pimento cheese dip appetizer had a nice, spicy kick. Eric was very accommodating for the gluten allergy at our table and brought cucumbers instead of crackers for the dip. There were not a ton of GF options in appetizers or desserts, but enough.
We plan to visit the rooftop when it opens, as well as the Cantina scheduled to open up next door, under the same ownership.
