Boston Pizza

I was invited for lunch at the 14 Street NW Calgary location of Boston Pizza (BP). The BP menu in this case, can be best described as comprehensive. It is clearly designed to cater to any and all tastes, not just "pizza", as one may guess from the eponymous name. It has deep fried bar food, such as wings and nachos and sandwiches, 12 types of pizzas + build your own. Pastas, chicken, ribs, steaks as well as a kids menu round up the mainstream choices. In addition, BP also offers vegetarian items and a specific gluten-free, labeled "GlutenWise", menu with such creative items as "pizza with a cauliflower crust". The restaurant is licensed to sell alcohol. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted and seated. Shortly after, we ordered drinks and a vegetarian pizza to share. Our pizza arrived within 15-20 minutes, piping hot. It tasted exactly like what was described in the menu, which is good. BP is a franchise. I cannot say much about all their restaurants but this location was clean. The service we experienced was attentive and courteous. Overall, our experience at BP was good. The food was exactly as advertised and the service was excellent. The menu can satisfy almost anyone. This makes BP an easy choice to eat out with groups having diverse tastes and dietary restrictions.

The night was perfect, delicious food and kind friends. The service was excellent, food came out pretty quick, and they have options for most people. I've eaten here in the past, and they have pretty good gluten-free options and vegetarian options.
