I dined at Braidwood three times on my trip to Whistler. The breakfast is excellent, and the serving sizes are generous. However, the prices are steep. If you don’t have breakfast included with your room, it might be worth it to look elsewhere in the area. The omelet was fantastic, and with the side of bacon, I received 11 slices. A bit excessive, but I’ll take it. For dinner I got the seared salmon. The skin was nice and crispy, but not much flavor all the way around. The texture of the rice was also strange. They didn’t have any gluten-free desserts, but they were able to get the menu from the neighboring fine dining restaurant Sidecut for me. The 20-layer cake was disappointing though. You can’t cut a cake into 20 slices and call it a 20-layer cake. Service was excellent throughout my visits!

I very rarely write a bad review but we were really disappointed with our experience. First of all the ambiance of the restaurant was lovely and our server was really nice. The food however was extremally mediocre and at a ludicrous price. The cost of the food would be normal for fine dining but the meal was average and bland. We also ordered the gluten free apple crumble which was the worst desert I have ever had. It tasted like it had been through a whiskey smoker. I have a feeling this is the four seasons not caring about having returning customers but just trying to earn as much as they can per table. Even each drink was expensive, $14 dollars for a lager is mind blowing. Won't return and won't recommend.
