What a hidden gem! We came from across the bay to meet friends here, and were delighted by the service, beautiful outdoor patio, and super tasty food. Our server was really helpful in suggesting gluten and dairy free options, and we loved everything. Highly recommend making a point of visiting Port Costa and Bull Valley Roadhouse!

Excellent food in a really unique, fun location. Very helpful and accommodating if you are gluten free as well.

Bull Valley Roadhouse is a combination of a fun house, old west saloon and fine dining establishment. All of the staff are experts in their field, they understand the menu and all the ingredients that make the up the menu. They don't have issue with customizing your meal to accommodate an app that you might have. Sister can't have gluten, so she always have to take precautions anytime she goes out. Lots of restaurants understand this, but not to the degree that Bull Valley takes it. My sister was thinking about something that was fried, and they let her know that multiple items that shared the fryer oil included gluten (flour). Not many establishments understand that level of detail as it's easy to look over. These folks are thoughtful and it shows in the food, service and decor. I did find their pricing high for the amount and quality of the food. The rib eye was tasty, but for the price, it needed to come with 2 sides. The same for the short rib, one fairly small short rib (cooked to perfection) just doesn't justify the price. I get that everywhere/everything is high, it's the new norm, but you can make up for it with a couple cheap sides. All in all, great job Bully Valley Roadhouse! Thanks for having us!
