Often have issues ordering pizza as GF needs Gluten free. Ordered two pizzas from Caloroso, one gluten free, one not. Both were pretty damn good. GF said it was one of the better gluten free bases she's had and really enjoyed it. I had a Diavola and again, was great. Base was really good, nice and puffy with just a little bit of chew. Good toppings and perfect spice too. This will be our new local pizza place I reckon.

Was looking forward to trying the pizza from here as i had high expectations. If you are ordering their standard pizza i'm sure it is probably great. But for those ordering vegan/gluten free i cannot recommend unfortunately. Our vegan and gluten free pizzas were very disappointing. The dough was like cardboard - no flavour, hard like a shell and dry. The cheese tasted a bit too strange and the consistency was viscous to the point of being solid and very chewy. The pizzas also arrived lukewarm/cold, which was rather unforgiving on the ingredients. I get that vegan/gf pizza isn't the easiest but i've had plenty of amazing experiences to know that it can be done. I think Calorossa really need to rethink this offer on their menu - if it can't be a half decent experience just don't offer it to customers (at least until you work it out).
