Chowder Bowl

This is an absolutely amazing place in terms of both food and a family, friendly environment! We were delighted by how much our 10-month-old enjoyed sitting in her highchair and looking at all the nice staff walking by and waving at her. The food was delicious, the sourdough chowder bowl is absolutely one of the best ones I have ever had! My wife enjoyed the thoughtful gluten-free menu as well! There is even a changing table in thesmall but well equipped bathroom. 5 out of 5 recommend!!

I had a friend recommended the chowder here, knowing I need gluten free due to an allergy. When I specifically looked up Best GLUTEN free chowder near me, I was excited to find it was one of the top 5 restaurants that came up. I decided this is where I wanted to have my birthday dinner tonight and was so looking forward to a big bowl of clam chowder. Luckily, I asked to confirm that the chowder was in fact gluten free before ordering and was very disappointed to be told told NO, and handed a tiny menu with maybe 5 options to choose from. Needless to say, every one enjoyed a wonderful dinner, while I got stuck with two shrimp tacos. Birthday failure for sure. While, I waited for our food I double checked to make sure I was at the right restaurant. I was, and various websites had it listed when searching for gluten free chowder. I wish they would make it clear that GLUTEN free chowder is not an option, since it's basically the name of the restaurant that is listed under gluten free options.
