Full disclosure: I used to work here. Ciao Bella has always been a fun place to work and a great place to eat. Today I had a sample of what they offer. Regrettably I could only eat one pizza, and head no more room for any of the goodness from the chef. I know him personally, and talent doesn't begin to describe Jose's ability.
That being said, I can't say I didn't get special treatment, but I will say it wasn't noticably different. I do believe the exceptional service we had would be experienced by any guest Octavia takes care of, and the pizzas would've been delightful regardless of who tasted them. We got two gluten free pizzas, both were hot, crispy, piled high with fresh deliciousness and nothing short of magnificence.
I've spent many a night rolling out dough and making pizzas with Felipe, and I've seen him create each pizza with an equal amount of love. I'm glad I got to enjoy everything one more time.
