Arriving late evening having already booked. Check-in was quick and easy.
The room was on the nicer side of standard hotel rooms. Really comfortable large single beds, and nice soap, shampoo and conditioner in bathroom. The room, especially the bathroom, does look a little tired but it functions well.
Bar was on the expensive side, kr 355 for two glasses of wine and some nuts.
The thing that let the experience down was breakfast. While the buffet was aesthetically pleasing, I felt a bit like Goldilocks in the three bear's house as i went through a few items before deciding to make a safe choice: the overnight oats were lumpy, the scrambled eggs were grainy and lacked the flavour of eggs, and the gluten free rolls were rock hard. I ended up going for the melon which even though it wasn't ripe was still eatable.
But, what a wonderful night's sleep. Not a plane or noisy hotel guest waking us up.
