We stopped this darling town by accident and so glad we did. The Cosy Club was open so we went in! Great staff, beautiful restaurant and the food was very good. We had a gluten free person with us and they asked about allergies before we were seated and then had a separate gluten free menu. Our party had the green curry, sea bass (GF) beet and goat cheese salad and the burger. All were very good, no complaints

Nestled in the heart of Stamford, Lincolnshire, Cosy Club Stamford offers a distinctive dining experience that seamlessly blends historical charm with contemporary flair. Housed in the former delivery office of the town's main Post Office, the venue exudes an industrial yet inviting ambiance, characterized by honey-coloured stone walls and an eclectic mix of reclaimed furnishings. The interior design features old leather dining chairs, railway waiting room benches, and plush sofas, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Adorned with mirrors, flags, oil paintings, and taxidermy, the décor adds a unique touch to the dining experience. The menu at Cosy Club Stamford is both diverse and accommodating, catering to a wide range of dietary preferences. Guests can enjoy an array of dishes, from hearty burgers and grills to lighter options like brunch items, steaks, tapas, and nibbles. The restaurant also offers dedicated gluten-free and vegan menus, ensuring inclusivity for all patrons. Notably, the gluten-free menu is thoughtfully designed, with dishes clearly marked to prevent cross-contamination, providing peace of mind for those with dietary restrictions. Customer reviews highlight the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff. One patron praised the Thai green curry from the gluten-free menu, noting the restaurant's commitment to accommodating dietary needs without compromising on taste. Another guest commended the Beyond Meat burger, expressing satisfaction with the vegan options available. The staff's friendly and professional demeanor contributes significantly to the overall positive dining experience. However, some reviews indicate areas for improvement. A few patrons have reported longer-than-expected wait times for food during peak hours, suggesting that service efficiency could be enhanced. Additionally, while the majority of feedback is positive, there are isolated instances where customers felt that portion sizes were smaller than anticipated, particularly concerning the salmon sunshine bowl. The venue's versatility extends beyond casual dining. Cosy Club Stamford features a private dining room known as "The Mess," which is available for hire and can accommodate up to 55 guests. This space is ideal for various events, including wedding receptions, offering a unique setting that combines historical elements with modern amenities. The absence of a room hire fee for this function room adds to its appeal for those planning special occasions. In terms of accessibility, Cosy Club Stamford is centrally located, making it convenient for both locals and visitors. The establishment is also accommodating to families, providing ample space for buggies and a welcoming environment for guests of all ages. The restaurant's commitment to inclusivity is further reflected in its diverse menu offerings and attentive service. In summary, Cosy Club Stamford offers a memorable dining experience that artfully combines the building's historical significance with modern culinary offerings. The eclectic décor, diverse menu, and attentive staff create an inviting atmosphere suitable for various occasions, from casual meals to special events. While there are minor areas for improvement, such as service efficiency during peak times, the overall experience at Cosy Club Stamford is one of warmth, inclusivity, and culinary satisfaction.

Never been and having heard people recommend here I wasn't impressed. Honestly hate doing bad reviews but the food was not very good, I'm also not someone to send food back as not saying they would but you never know what happens. We went for a family birthday meal and everyone choose there meals. My partner is gluten intolerant so meals can be difficult to get decent food. We shared a pork belly and safe to say we had 4 pieces to shard between 2 for nearly £10. I expected more pieces for something that was labled sharer and the bits were fatty and gristle rather than any meat at all. We then had our main and the gluten free burger looked in my opinion bland, dry and burnt. Which my partner told me it was bland and burnt. (Understand non gluten food can be difficult to make). Also ordered sweet potato fries instead of fries which they got wrong, however they were quick to rectify but with burnt sweet potato fries. My chicken burger wasn't burnt but it felt like there was too many fillings, sauces and veg inside and too over baring with so many flavours. Chips were very good but the slaw that comes with it tasteless and bland. Our Son had maccaroni and cheese which he enjoyed apart from the garlic bread was a little too done and very herby for a child. We did ask for a refund on the gluten free meal which was given and can't complain at that, the staff were apologetic and appreciated that. The reason not sending food back is as said above about returning it and not knowing. Also we don't like being those people when everyone else is eating returning food and causing a scene. So choose not too. With this being said the customer service was good. Got a refund for burnt food. Staff were apologetic and helpful. Believe manager came over at the end and apologised which was nice but feel I'll avoid as paying that price for food which we didnt like isn't great especially with cost of everything going up.
