They say people are 7x more likely to leave a bad review than a good one, and I guess that holds true, because while I’ve dined here, I’ve never once left a review. It wasn’t until my friend shared an ignorant 1-star review about this establishment, because it was inclusive (how dare they!) that I felt compelled to drop my 5 star review.
If you’ve never been to Earth’s Harvest, it’s not hard to imagine the type of business it is, judging by its name and proximity to a natural foods store. Never, when I walk into a Juicery, natural food store, or organic market do I think “man, this will be a bargain!” No, I expect to spend $10 on an organic, grass-fed smoothie. I don’t know what Mr. Meats Eats was thinking when he walked in here… judging by his username (and laundry list of 1-star reviews), this place just isn’t his vibe. Maybe he thought it was a weed shop? Wrong state, bro, but you’re close!
Anyways. I’ve been here with a friend for a business meeting most recently. We grabbed breakfast and coffee and sat outside. It’s what you’d expect of a restaurant by this name - simple, clean food, with some fun twists like banh mi, creative sandwiches, and the millennial icon - avocado toast (GASP!).
While I’m not gluten free, I appreciate they have these options so that friends and I can enjoy breakfast/lunch dates together and they can eat real food instead of just a fruit cup.
Lastly, while a business has no control over who walks in their door, leaving a 1-star review for them because you “felt uncomfortable” with how another patron decided to dress that day is just *sad*. I can’t imagine being that miffed about someone else’s outfit… unless… wait! Were you both wearing the SAME THING? Gosh, that is embarrassing. I get it now.
I, for one, am grateful that this negative Nancy has declared they will never be back. I’d add an extra star to my review for that!
