First Watch

My friend and I had a great brunch here, with delicious food, friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere. The menu has good gluten free options, so my friend ate well, and I ate my cheesy grits and bacon egg and cheddar sandwich just as well. I highly recommend this place!

This was a really fun time! There were issues: it was busy Sunday. My plate was missing cheese on my eggs, not a big deal. My friends plate was not gluten free as she requested so they took the whole thing back and remade it. Great. But that took another 40min. It was an insane amount of time. I understand they were busy. But that was not ok. They definitely acknowledged it well, but like 10% off or a coupon for a free drink next time. Something. I was completely done by the time her food came, had time to get hungry again and finish the last half of what I normally would not eat. The food was good, but logistically they should have remade mine too, for timing, or kept in the heat lamps, or something else. Overall it was nice! But I don’t know that I’d go back on a Sunday.
