We came for a Gluten Free ice cream recommended by the very kind girl from the Castellina ice cream shop in the historic center, we arrived on foot, it is not far from the other one, about 6 minutes on foot. We were struck by the external environment, a villa with a lot of outdoor space and despite being on the road the garden is really pleasant, inside the workmanship is visible and the environment seems really clean but to my statement of being celiac, of course anyway of the presence of suitable ice cream, the girl was slightly taken aback but we still arrived at the fact that gluten-free ice cream was there and so I looked at the flavors on the counter and when she asked how many flavors I wanted I pointed out that I hadn't decided yet, if that were never the case, her colleague intervenes and in a peremptory and rude way tells me to stay calm and that her colleague would have indicated the flavors to me and that they were not those from the refrigerated counter... I ate an ice cream that was medium and cold to the palate and I think I won't have one next time, what a shame. I would just like to comment in relation to his very kind response: 1) perhaps he confronted the shop assistant who served me and not the other one who interfered in a rude way and told me to stay calm, leaving even her colleague astonished.... 2) the coldness on the palate as a good ice cream maker knows or should know is caused by the use of stabilizers which are not perfect or not to my taste, whether natural or in pre-formed mixes. As for the mistake of having ice cream for celiacs, it is almost an offense for a category of people who, in order to have this service, are also willing to pay a surcharge... with a little kindness, my review would have been good and it would certainly have made me evaluate the ice cream differently which, without prejudice to the flavor and taste characteristics, was certainly of excellent quality. Sometimes the word "sorry" is worth more than a thousand speeches.
