We used to dine at Giovanni's way back when they were in the Cove Terrace shopping center. Honestly, after they built the new place, their food quality went down. In the last year or two, they have come back with a vengeance and their food is quite good! They also have a variety of gluten-free options which is hard to find in Italian restaurants. Service is usually always quite good. The only thing I don't like is the acoustics in the main dining areas--wayyyyy too loud. Love their "Romeo and Juliet" seating area--so long as it is just 2-4 people, it is perfect as you can hear the person/people you are dining with. The last time I was there though, I asked for my carrots that came with the meal to be al dente. The manager came out and didn't seem to understand what al dente means. I explained the every other time I had been there, I was able to get al dente carrots. He wanted to argue with me about it. I dismissed his ridiculous excuses and just ate around the incredibly mushy carrots.
