We were travelling back home to Scotland and needed a break - searched Google for a safe cafe that could cope with coeliacs. Hive popped up and was an easy drive off our route home. Lovely location, surrounded by greenery. Thoroughly enjoyed my gluten free cooked breakfast and good coffee. Very pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Thankyou Hive for a positive experience.

This is an absolute hidden gem in Jarrow. I've been going here since Hive took over and they have transformed the café. Food is always excellent quality and fantastic choice. Great choice of vegan and gluten free options. All staff who work there are warm, welcoming and friendly. They welcome dogs which is great.
