We will never be going back here. We are from Tulsa and came to eat at this location. My husband has celiac disease which means he is allergic to gluten. We have been to ihop several times since then and have been fine. My husband told our waitress that he was allergic to gluten, it is the first thing we disclose at ANY restaurant. He orders the gluten friendly pancakes. Whenever they come he asks her to make sure that they are the gluten free ones and she tells him yes. He ate three of the pancakes and told me he wasn’t feeling good. Whenever we got our ticket it said protein pancakes. We asked the waitress if she made a mistake on the receipt or actually gave him protein pancakes. She said he had the protein pancakes. I told her those were not gluten free. She said they were the same thing. So I looked up the menu and they were not on the gluten friendly portion. Then found the protein pancakes and it tells you what is in them. Rye is one of the ingredients which is part of gluten. We told her this and she says she will ask the cook. She comes back and says the cook said they are gluten free. We ask for a manager. He was very unhelpful. Offered to comp only the pancakes after the waitress lied and gave my husband something he is allergic to. Ridiculous. My brother had to ASK him to just comp both his and I’s meal which he eventually did. He even tried to turn it around on us saying that it only says gluten friendly because it is fried in the same spot. Which we know and we know that risk. However that is much different than CONSUMING three pancakes of what he is allergic to. He has been sick all day today. Whenever my husband said he would be going to call he tried to tell him that they would just send him back to him and resolve it. This was absolutely not okay.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. My brother has a severe gluten allergy & we made sure multiple times that we ordered GLUTEN FREE pancakes. Our server brought them out, we asked again, she confirmed that they were gluten free. He ate all 3 pancakes. She then brought out our bill, and it said “protein pancakes” which is not the same as gluten free. They have all ingredients of gluten, so we then realize he has ingested his allergy. We asked her for the 2nd time if they were gluten free, she confirmed again and then stated she would ask the chef, she came back and we were told the chef even said they are gluten free. We looked up the ingredients just to confirm, and they are indeed not gluten free. We then argue back and forth with the manager for 20 minutes and had to convince him to comp the meal. You give my brother something he CANT INJEST and don’t even offer to comp the meal???? Just the pancakes? Worst manager and team I have ever seen. We finally got the meal comped and left. We will NEVER be back, and will be bringing it up to corporate as soon as we can.
