We always loved going to IHOP. Before tonight we had ordered through doordash and I had ordered gluten free pancakes. When I received the pancakes I thought they were the best tasting gluten free pancakes ever. Little did I know, after my stomach started to hurt I checked the menu and come to find out they weren’t gluten free at all. I called the restaurant and explained the situation and all I got was “sorry”. Ok whatever, I get it mistakes are made.
Tonight we ordered again through Doordash, this time I ordered a grilled chicken salad. My family’s ordered were fine. But when I opened my salad box, I was shocked! The lettuce was brown, yellow and slimy. And most of my ingredients were missing. Just chicken and lettuce. I called the restaurant and spoke with Lisa the manager or assistant manager and explained to her and she was apologetic and disappointed in what I received. She offered to bring me a replacement salad. She drove to my house herself and brought me a much better salad! I had my son wait outside for her and when she delivered it, she called me to verify that I was happier with what she brought.
