We came to Kwok’s to celebrate a birthday of a dear friend. The meal and experience went beyond my expectations for a quaint, quiet Chinese restaurant in downtown Reno.
Our waitress, Winnie, was phenomenal and extremely accommodating of my dietary needs (I have Celiac). She confirmed that many of the batters were already made with potato starch (instead of flour) and that many of the dishes could be made gluten free with gf soy sauce. Yay!
Every dish was absolutely incredible. It was quite an experience tasting so many different flavors and dishes- many of which I’ve never had before. We all left satisfied and full, and I can’t wait to come back to Kwok’s for another special occasion.
