The next time I return to Greve in Chianti, I will definitely go there again. Small but welcoming restaurant, the food, although simple, is really good and there is also attention to gluten-free options. Tommaso the owner, a really nice guy. I recommend going there!!

After making sure that the restaurant allowed animals as reported on the website, we sat at the table in the corner of the restaurant to cause as little disturbance as possible and my dog (golden retriever) lay down under the table. First we were asked if it was possible to put the dogs outside in a pen and then we were told to move away because a celiac customer who was allergic to dogs was coming. As we were leaving we saw a customer come in with an English bulldog. So we went back in asking for explanations and we were told that our dog was too big, and that if he hadn't shaken himself, hadn't lost hair and hadn't made a mess he could perhaps have stayed. Obviously we declined the invitation because if the problem had really been allergies no dog would have been allowed in. I also suggest you update the site by writing "small dogs allowed"
