WARNING WHEN CATERING
I had a wedding event for my fiancé’s family and mine to meet, 12/22/2024. We decided to cater from this place. We even had arranged a plate because we have someone with a gluten and egg allergy. (The pasta was going to be replaced with vegetables). They took my order and cc information and told me they would deliver to my place. I called the day of to confirm since I hadn’t received a reminder email and thought that was weird. I would think I would get a reminder email. I called and they told me they can’t find my order at all. That I needed to contact the caterer manager to see what she says because they can’t do catering on the phone with them. I told him I don’t think I would get a hold of her since it’s a Sunday. They said you should because that’s her job and you should hear from her even on a Sunday. She should reply.
No reply from her since today.
I called again. Thankfully another individual answered and he said the caterer individual works only Monday-Friday. I explained to him the issue. He said they can take my order. We decided to since we were depending on them for catering and didn’t have a plan B. I let them know again of the allergy situation for one individual and the accommodation we agreed on with the caterer manager. They said they would make it as we agreed.
They delivered and they gave us the plate that was supposed be allergy free WITH pasta, no vegetables. So the person who had the allergy we didn’t have much to provide for them. I was embarrassed to not have food for them despite I let the individual know we had accommodated for them.
My fiancé called them the next day to see where the issue happened and that said they forgot to put our catering order, they messed up.
She said even though they made a mistake on forgetting the order AND giving us a plate for the person with the allergy there’s nothing they can do.
We were disappointed with that answer after the stress they put me through.
Would not cater from them again.
