Afternoon tea Was lovely I'm gluten free my Afternoon tea was very nice and lots of it Staff were all very helpful and friendly Lovely outside area too. I have stayed here few years ago Would recommended

A group of friends visited for Afternoon Tea. Lovely place & the tea room was a lovely area but avoid if you have allergies. I have a gluten allergy and this was the only thing eaten that day and I was quite ill that evening. The lady in our party who has a chocolate allergy was also served a chocolate macaroon by accident, but the lack of care & attention in this can cause serious reactions for some people’s allergies. The venue seemed extremely busy as they also had a wedding scheduled the same day, and the bar, kitchen & toilets all seemed to be shared, which must be odd for the wedding guests. I ran into the bride in the bathroom, and it seems odd the venue doesn’t have bridal facilities as the bathroom stalls really aren’t big enough for wedding dresses! All in all, likely won’t return.
