Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

The gluten free rotini came with bread sticks. Portion was small,looked like kids portion. Rude service.

Our family of five went here for our daughter's birthday on a Monday evening. There was not a huge crowd but the restaurant was not empty either. My family requested the dining room that has a table in a room by itself due to COVID and they accommodated us happily and quickly. The restaurant appeared to be clean although not a lot of visible COVID measures to mention. The food was delicious, not one complaint from the kiddos (a rarity). There was even a gluten free rotini pasta option which was a very pleasant and delicious surprise. The only constructive criticism we could share was for the grilled chicken that was on the pasta, it was a bit rubbery, like it had been cooked in the microwave. Other than that, the food was quite delicious. The server we had was amazing! He was very polite and he had everything we needed to us promptly and checked back often enough that our beverages never remained unfilled, even with our daughters drinking their sodas as if they had been in a desert. He was friendly and engaging. He offered guidance on dishes without being pushy or rushing us to decide and made us feel confident we would enjoy our selections. For the budget concious, the cost of our family of five to eat dinner was $127 (that included tax & 25% tip). We had enough food to fill 2 adults, 1 teenaged boy(WOW! I know), and two preteen girls and at the end of dinner, we still had five take home boxes for leftovers the next evening. On a more touching note, they gifted our daughter a birthday dessert and even let her chose it from the menu! Three staff members were also kind enough to sing "Happy Birthday " to her. We went out to make our birthday girl feel special, Olive Garden helped us do that. Thank you!
