Located in the quaint town of Galesville, the restaurant is located at the very end of the main road on the water. We got there on a Saturday and there was plenty of parking. However, by the time we left, the parking lot was full. Reservations are available for the restaurant but we sat outside at Big Mary’s Dock Bar. There was a bar and sitting area with a few TVs and fans. We sat right by the dock and during our time there, numerous boats came and went.
Great view. Our server, Caitlin, was fantastic. Attentive and friendly. I had the Pirates Cove Ale, but for you “beer people”, it was brewed by Bell’s. Ordered the Seared Tuna with Mexican Street Corn. It was not your usual seared tuna but had a wasabi sauce with the corn. Wish there was a little more tuna, but the flavor was excellent. They do have a gluten free menu (asked for a roll with some guacamole which was made ‘off’ menu). The beignets (4) were served hot with a raspberry, caramel or chocolate sauce (raspberry was the best).
Overall … great service, food was good and reasonably priced and great view. I will be back.
