Rating: ★★☆☆☆ Biggest disappointment lately. I was really looking forward to it, but it ended up being such a letdown. It’s a terrible value for money: the portions are tapas-sized and no gluten free substitution for the sourdough bread was provided, even though it was one of the starters of the set menu. The gluten free « dessert » was just a single scoop of sorbet. We informed them about our dietary needs in advance - even confirmed by phone- so it was frustrating that nothing was properly accommodated. Do better!

An outstanding restaurant that served me the best meal I had during a three and half week trip to the UK (and Sweden) where I ate at nice restaurants almost every night. I particularly appreciated being able to eat most things off the menu despite having a celiac disease affliction which means I can't consume gluten. The wine pairings were very interesting (and good!). Fantastic service, and a great space. I wish this was my neighborhood restaurant. Pictured, beef short rib, Portobello mushrooms and a pepper sauce. Utterly delicious. I am still dreaming about the smoked eel, celeriac and kombu. The chickpea panisse, anchovy and sorrel was to die for.
